Trio Suites

The location is the best. Walking distance to Sultanahmet region (20'-30') and very close to Isticlal street (5'-10)'. The building and the rooms are renovated. The area is relatively quiet. Breakfast was nice enough and staff very friendly.

Rooms were not soundproof. Most hotels of the area are old buildings so perhaps it could be expected.

Staff was really friendly and helpful, rooms - clean and location - perfect. Looking forward to my next visit there!

We had been to Istanbul before and stayed in some very average places for more than this. Were very happy with our room. Tidy, and clean. Good breakfast provided as well. It is nice and close to a tram line so very handy to reach using public transport as well.

The hotel staff was amazing, very helpfull and kind. The room was clean, comfortable and with a great view to the sea.

Very bad hotel, impossible to sleep, air condition/heating (the outside part of it) of yours and other rooms are so loud, it seems you sleep in a train station, walls are very very thin, you hear everything that is happening in the other rooms, incl. Showers, ventilation of bathrooms, talking, air condition (the inside part of it), doors, and the very noisy elevator + uncomfortable beds and one tiny blanket for 2 people. we had a horrible night their, couldn t sleep at all (we have both travelled many places and are used to standards in developing countries) and changed to another hotel at 4 a.m.! the next day in istanbul was lost.. no refund!

the location is good, stuff friendly, room spacious and clean, limited yet satisfactory panaromic view of Istanbul including Galata Tower and Blue Mosque

there was a drainage problem at the bathroom. Also,if you stay at 5th floor, you hear footsteps and rumble of the stuff at the upstairs which is reserved for extra beds, cleaning stuff etc..

The hotel location, hotal design breakfeast service is good. It is near the seaside. Staff are helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.

We can not warm up the room with a air conditioning. Travaing to i̇stiklal Street is hard to do. The road is so hill. However it is good for its prize.

location is excellent not far from Taksim square and close by Tramway

Great location we could take the tramline from Ataturk aitport and same on the taxi fare.short walk from the main sights of Tophane area.There are too much modern art musium and galeria and good connectivity to other areas Sultanahmet Taksim İstiqlal street .Room was cleaning everyday and adequately equiped.But breakfast had a notbad. Would recommend it. Personel was very helpful friendly.

We were pleasently surprised with the stuff,proffesional, friendly,good english as well. Also Trio Suites is very close to all the great(important to see) things in Istanbul such as: Taksim, Golden horn, Galata tower and bridge, Yenni mosque etc.......

There is no suach a thing. Trio Suites has it all!

The hotel location is great. hotel design is heart.breakfast was amazing and the main and very impressive there was a staff.l can remember especially Manuchari Murat Sezer.they were so helpfull special thanks them

Perfect location

1). When making a reservation we asked for a room with a double bed. It was more that half a month before coming to Istanbul. Nevertheless they didn't fulfill our requirements: the room they gave to us was with twin beds just joined together and one of them was higher than another; during the night beds permanently separated and it was really uncomfortable. Several timese we asked the staff to change the room according to our requirements, they said there were no free rooms at the moment. But we made a reservation long time before coming, so I think they had enough time to do themselves best to please the clients. 2). It is noisy inside the hotel. You can hear everything from your neighbours. 3). Breakfast is the same every day, no variety. 4). They didn't change towels for several days. 5). When taking shower the whole bathroom got wet and slippery.

The staff is very helpful and they do their best to accommodate your requests as much as possible. The double room and the bathroom are wide enough for 2 people and breakfast served in the room is rich and diverse. The hotel's location is great. Everything is very close and we enjoyed walking everywhere. Wi-fi is available free of charge.

It would be really good if they had hangers and hooks around the room for more hanging space. In spring, autumn and winter, a duvet or a thicker blanket would be appreciated.

Great location, at the center of every site we wanted to see in one day. Its proximity to the Sultanahmet and Galata enabled us to maximize the little time we had in the city in the best possible way.The staff is genuinely amazing, they accommodated our early arrival and late departure the next day. Hotel is new and spotless clean, our room was gorgeous with the comfortable bed, thick enough curtains to prevent the light of early morning, and soundproof windows which stops the outside noise completely, the recipe for perfect sleep....We wished we had more time to enjoy this beautiful city, the fine suite we had. We will be delighted to come back next year for our extensive Turkey trip and stay here as long as we are in Istanbul.

The location is more than great. The room is big enough, very cozy and clean. Hotel stuff is helpful and engaging. :)

We couldn't get double bed room so they simply joined two single bed room but it wasn't comfortable.

The location is perfect Tophane, the room is at the backside so no streetnoise, staff was helpfull with my suitcase. They bring the breakfast to your room

The hotel is just open for 2 months an it is extremely NOiSY! I stayed at room 402 and the wall with room 403 is paperthin! Like cardboard so your hear everything from your neighbours, toilet, talking, shower and other 'activities' , so I had 3 broken nights of sleep. Also the elevators makes too much noise. When you shower the whole bathroom got wet, also the shower does not get very hot. I will not recommend this place unless you only go for location and bring your earplugs. When I checked out I told my experiences and their answer was, ' it is not hotel problem but the guest'.

Location: it is located in tophane near tramway

While I was booking my trip, I chose trio suites because of it's good location and price. However when I arrived my husband and I were shocked because of the following: 1. Location: it's not near taksim square although they name themselves trio suites taksim- it's 5-7 min by taxi and around 20-25 min walking. 2. When we arrive, only 1 room was ready, they told us that it will be ready around 2:00 o'clock, we were group of 4 and we waited in 1 room. At 2:00 o'clock, we called reception who in turn told us that are no room available anymore. Noting that my reservation was done 2 months ago prior our trip. Then after a long discussion, we were transferred to another hotel for one night and then after we should return to trio suites. 3. Rooms are not clean- they only changed bed sheets once and they take towels without bringing new ones. And when I requested to change bed sheet they didn't like idea informing me that tomorrow they ll change it noting that we were checking out. 4. Breakfast is brought to inside room, we had to eat same breakfast for 4 days only tea, cheese & bread. Noting that one time we requested it to be delivered at 7.45 since we have a trip, they brought it at 8.30. 5. There are too much noise, since all room doors doesn't close directly you have to push to close it so we were hearing every door close in the building.

The location was very handy. Room was tidy and relatively quiet.

A few things we found odd. The bed covering was short.. It kind of baffled us. If you pulled it up over your chest, your legs up to your calf would be exposed. Spare blankets weren't in the room. The shower didn't drain quickly which meant showers could only last a minute before flooding the entire apartment. There was a leak that dripped anytime our neighbour showered (once at about 3am). The internet worked, but was extremely slow during our stay. The general demeanor of the staff was not very good. We bought up these issues and there response was to simply say ok then walk off with no reassurances or really any proof that they understood. It took two days for them to take any action (they offered to move us to another hotel) which we ended up refusing as the location wasn't as good. We are actually very easy going travelers, probably why we just stuck it out there, so these problems certainly didn't affect our overall experience in Istanbul but I could imagine other travelers might find a similar experience very grating.

Room was cleaned every day, friendly staff actualy speaks english, no extra charge for safe-box, good location

No airport shuttle, no early check-in, at first we' ve got inappropriate room but they have change it later, same breakfast every single day and small portion, they can also forgot about bringing the breakfast and you can't order it before 8,00 AM, hotel is hard to find even for the taxidriver.
