Everything was fine
You'll be greeted with a warm welcome, in a beautiful courtyard and made to feel at home. The terrace and rooms are lovely and was sad to leave. Delicious breakfast. Stay here you'll be treated with respect and you won't regret it :)
Easy to find and park next to the pension. 10 min walk from the city center. Feel like home.
kind, nice, strong wifi. cheap, clean bathroom.
cheap. that's it..
Very cozy pension. Good breakfast and location. Very helpful staffs. Appreciated the manager/ owner drove us to the bus station on the day we left.
This hostel is at a good location. And owner Junaid is really warm and jovial person. Feels very much like home.
the most i appreciate here was the owner "cuneyt".he 's the one who make me impress turkey's people.he willing to advice us where&when to go. reccomend good&reasonable price restaurant . also give us a free pick up&send to station.in additional ,he also drive us to visit atemis. the staff here also nice. we arrive there very early in the morning,he not mind to arrange us the early check in.( we book 2 double room, but just 1 available,so he offer me 1 double &1 triple room for same price. )the place itself situate in good location ,very near to station, restaurant&souvenir area.
Close to the train station and not far from the bus station. The owner gave us a free ride to the bus station, and helped us to plan our trip to Ephesus. Good wifi. Room with air conditioner.
The room is small, and the breakfast is a bit simple comparing to other Turkish hotels.
halpful staff, good location, good mood.
The people who run this hostel are very friendly and helpful. I had a restful sleep it's in a quiet area. The cost of a double room is affordable. Room was very clean WiFi was good.
The free breakfast was plated
Well-sized rooms and bathroom, clean and comfortable overall. The hostel owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and served in a terrace with an authentic atmosphere.
Could be a little cheaper.
Great breakfast - and it changed a bit every day. Very clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location - very close to otogar and to the main sights.
There was no wardrobe in the room - or at least some shelve would be nice.
It is a reasonable back packers place but I have to wonder how it got an 8.1. It is clean, but average in other aspects. The family and staff are very friendly but I must add a negative comment.
We found Selcuk has a culture where travellers are seen as "walking cash". Even when booking a bus, despite being clear where we wanted to go, they only cared about booking us and overcharging. I was very disappointed when we arrived at the Pension as we were subjected to a moderate high pressure sales pitch for tours which we did not want or need. We were a captive audience. This experience almost spoiled our stay.
Very kind and helpful owner and staff
The staff were friendly and helpful including drop off at the ralway station Only a few minutes walk to the shops the bus and train station
There was no clothes hanging space and the shower needed a major overhaul (then it would probably work properly)
Great location a short walk from bus and train stations. Really friendly and helpful staff. A great laid back atmosphere that was always very welcoming and a great place to come back to in the evenings.
The curtains were a little thin so the room didn't quite get as dark as we'd have liked - not a big problem - we fixed by hanging some towels up.
the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent and varied breakfast in the vine covered courtyard, the roof terrasse with a view on the castle, the very international guests.
not being able to spend an extra night in this veeery nice pension !
Great place to stay. Excellent staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. Central location.
No soap in the washrooms.
- location, it's about 5 min from bus termial -wifi, wifi is great - breakfast, nice breakfact, only fruit always not that fresh - good staff over.they teach me how to speak turkish
- not clean in 11 bed room. i understand it's 11 bed room so you can keep it very clean cuz people come and go. but this is somewhere i am so worried that i keep my long pents on and feel not that safe.
The rooms were nice, there is an Air Conditioner in the room so slept comfortably. The breakfast was good. No selection of cheeses like usual Turkish breakfast, but still it was really good. The location is perfect. very close to the bus station and the train station. The owner explained how to get to Ephesus and all the rest of it.
The shower curtains- it was not cleaned and it was spots of something on it in the end of the curtain.
Tuncay Pension is a beautiful retreat in a lovely vine covered courtyard. It's a family run pension so warm and friendly and great breakfasts! Cuneyt, the owner is a very kind and generous man who gave me good advice and took good care of me. I felt very secure and have many fond memories of my stay. The location is optimal for transportation, downtown and historical sites. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in Selcuk and would recommend it to others.
Everything was a wonderful experience.
breakfast room shower booth
Tuncay Pension is located just a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian disrict and about 10 minutes from the bus station. The staff at Tuncay Pension were the highlight of our stay. All were cheerful, friendly and helpful. The owner was always eager to answer questions. Breakfast was delicious, served in a beautiful courtyard garden. Our room was small but had all of the amenities, including excellent AC, and was clean. The staff even cleaned our room on our third day there.
Like many pensions in Turkey, the water heater gets overtaxed in the morning. Evening is a better time to take a shower. Nothing else to note.
The pension was very close to everything important in the city. Just 5 minutes away are great restaurants and bars.
The position is close to the city center and the bus station, so you can go everywhere. The pension manager is very kind and has picked up us for free when we arrived late at night.
