Really close to city center

Really noise neiborghood, unbelievably small room,and is not room from picture. My advise is first to check room then give money.

Location was good - 1.2 km (15 min walk) from Taksim Square, where the interesting part of the city starts. There is a very good restaurant just next door at the corner - recommend to have dinner there. The place was clean (don't confuse this with tidy). Neighbourhood was ok.

'Hotel' means in my vocabulary that the room is cleaned every day. However, our room wasn't cleaned or looked after with towels for the full 4 days. The staff was nowhere to be found (we had to buy new toilet paper and fix the shower ourselves). The tv from the downstairs bar started around 8am and wouldn't stop.

The location is quite good, but hard to find. The staff was frienndly and helped us when we needed. If you are going just to sleep there, its an acceptable variant.

The smell of sigarettes everywhere, quite old rooms, but for that price it was enough.

Lovely city view, convenient location and friendly stuff

Bathroom was uncomfortable (no shower cabin, so you have to shower on the floor in the same room with the toilet)

The location is perfect.You can easily reach anywhere you would like to.Also the hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful.Thank them for all.

staff specially mr Ali was very cooperative even before arriving to Istanbul and also what ever I ask he arrange it very fast and always smiling really if i want to come back i will use it again

The most evident benefit of staying here is the location. 5 minutes walk from Taksim Sq., Istiklal and the rest of Beyoglu, the hotel is within minutes of many of the well known sites of Istanbul. Transportation links from Taksim are also good (despite the current road works), so most parts of (the centre of) Istanbul are fairly easy to reach. The hotel is in one of many Istanbul side streets, and frankly, Istanbul taxi drivers aren't like those in other big cities, and don't know even the more major avenues of the city, let alone the side streets so be prepared in advance. The hotel was clean and a good size (although the bathroom is pretty tiny). Large, comfortable beds and well insulated, so we didn't feel the cold. The guy who runs the place was friendly and let us leave our bags at the hotel until late the next day, even coming back to open up the office so we could take them for our bus at midnight. For the price (about 70 something euros for two nights), the value is better than any other place that I've stayed in Istanbul, even places less central.

The staircase, although handsome, is LETHAL! Don't assume that you can pay by card (even if that's what booking.com tells you).

The ubication is very good, just seven or eight minutes walking to Taksim Square. It has the same quality that other hotels which are much more expensive.

Hotel has perfect location near to Taksim square. Staff is so kindly, helpful. They want help you with every problem. Rooms are relative large and spacious. Hotel respond to price.

Close to Taksim square and there is a shuttle stop to Ataruk airport less than 2 minutes away you pay when you get on it is flat 10 lira and takes 30 minutes, leaves every 30 minutes.

For the price it is isn't worth it for a single person. Came with 2 twins and bathroom was decent, free wifi. AC didn't work.

The window view was uninspiring.

Location is wonderfull, price is very good for the location, and the place is a safe place, the room is large, well furnitered and comfortable, and the staff very helpfull.

The bathroom small, the kitchen is very limited and there is no elevator.

The only best thing is the Location.

The interior is very poor. I had a feeling like someone were took a bath right before i step into my room. It can be described as a very basic hotel.

I loved this place. It is an old Istanbul building converted to an 'Apart'. The washroom and shower were separate and newly done. There was another sink in the room and a fridge which came in very handy especially for cold water. It is very central - near Taksim but far enough away to avoid the crowds. It is situated on a very quiet side street with tea and local food places so you really get a taste of the real Istanbul. And very easy to get anywhere because it is near all the public transportation. The room is big and has high ceilings. The woman in charge was very friendly and helpful. The best thing was that it was very quiet at night and there was air-conditioning which was really needed for two weeks I was there. It was a real find at a reasonable price.

I strongly suggest Turna Apart to people who plan to visit Istanbul and live its magical dream and don't want to miss any moment. Great location and hospitality. Very kind staff and especially Selim Bey, the manager.

I felt at home from the moment I walked in the door. The receptionist is absolutely charming, the rooms are large, clean and light, and the location is unbeatable. My new home away from home in Istanbul!

Close to Taksim Square, Ideal for Airport Transfer !0 Turkish Lira, and lots of easting places.

We were on the top floor, Stairs are very steep, Kitchen advertised but only kettle and on e cup and plate provided. but I am sure if we would have liked more, they would have provided it. We travel with our own.

For the price, I was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Great location, close to Taksim square and Lutfi Kirdar conference building, yet located in a quiet road. Mini market and restaurant are within 1 minute walk. They can arrange airport transfer for a surcharge. The room itself was quite basic but very clean and comfortable. Towels and toiletries (apart from toothpaste) were provided. Free internet. Serhat, the staff, was very nice and friendly, and gave great advices of how to get around and where to get food. If you are looking for a basic clean accommodation in a great location, I highly recommend this hotel!

Thin wall - my room was in the ground floor so I can hear any noise of people entering the building. However, it wasn't very frequent at all so didn't bother me too much. Washbasin is very small. I booked airport transfer for both my trips from and to the airport. And in both times, the drivers were half an hour late. I must add that this wasn't fault of the hotel though as it was an external company that this hotel is working with. But then again, these are very minors and I still had a very pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel..and very close to Taksim Square.. The manager of hotel and the owners are very friendly.. Very nice clear room, comfortable...and very good prices!!

The room was very small, and on ground floor, a little noisy because of the street so close to the bed !

Rooms were almost fairly clean and there was a terrace (although it was not flat at all and the view was really bad - a lot of rubbish on the near roofs)

The building itself. It really gave a felling of unsafeness. Old structure in badly shape, the stairs were almost falling down, the walls and the floors were all but straight and solid. We were really scared that an imperceptible earthquake could have destroyed the whole building just in a while! Besides, the water smells really badly (full of clorum), a lot of light comes in the room early in the morning, the heating system is just adjacent to a bed (impossible to sleep when the heating system is on), there is no sign whatsoever of the hotel in the street (we arrived at 8pm and we did not find anything: we had to call the hotel by phone -thanks to some kind turkish people at a bar in the same street- so as to find someone that opened up the door). Finally, they do no accept credit/debit cards, but only cash (either euro or Turkish lira). Never come back again
