The perfect accomodation for a trip in Cappadocia. Nice Rooms, great staff, good location.
WiFi could be a little bit better, but it was working anyway
Friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful view from terrace. Great meals next door.
Nice location, wonderful breakfast and service.
Morning breakfast with fairy chimney view, kind and helpfull staff, some of which native english speakers. Cosy small rooms.
Location is a bit far from centre town, a lot of construction activities in close proximity. Not all "cave rooms" were actually in a cave. Wifi was not allways in the air,
The owner of the hotel is exceptionally friendly. He picked me up from the bus station and helped to arrange the tours. The cave room was renovated from the original cave house. It is nice and clean. My favorite spot of this lovely hotel is the terrace from where you can have a 360 degree view of the town. The best way to wake up is to bring your breakfast to this little terrace and embrace what Goreme can offer in the early morning sun! The hotel offers very delicious Turkish breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit. The owner of the hotel is warm-hearted and always willing to help. After checking out, you can still use the toilet and shower outside your room before catching up a 12-hour night bus. I would say it is the most considerate thing you can offer to a traveler facing consecutive night travelling. I recommend Turquaz Cave because I have been there and I am still very grateful of everything offered by the people there.
Everything about Turquaz is wonderful! My daughter and I stayed there for three days at end of June....we did not want to leave. We love to hike and could access a variety of diverse and beautiful trails easily. Our room was delightful, comfortable and quiet with a great shower (solar heated water!) and small details not overlooked. Breakfasts on the high terrace are out of this world, punctuated by hot air balloons rising everywhere in the morning!! Turquaz sits higher than most cave hotels and one is rewarded with outstanding views. The walk to town center is an easy ten minutes; a gradual, very doable incline going home. And finally, the enjoyable staff are extraordinary! Lorraine and Fukhan were so helpful and sweet. Lorraine is very familiar and knowledgeable about the area and is easy, fun company. Owner, Orhan went out of his way to make connections for us to the amazing Dervish Ceremony in Sarihan (not to be missed). We will always remember our stay at Turquaz with joy and gratitude.
Terrace view, furnitures and breakfast
There is no conditioning air, the room is hot.
The staffs are really warm and helpful. The booked balloon, green tour and red tour and bus tickets for us as we required.
very friendly and helpful host and very nice atmosphere, great place to explore Cappadocia.
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful view. Felt like a home away from home.
Uphill walk challenging.
The staff was excellent. Lorraine and Furkan were really sweet and helpful. It is a small, cosy cave hotel. The rooms were good and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but best of all was the scenic view from the terrace where it was served.
The location is a bit off the city centre and is a good 20 mins steep uphill walk.
Loved the cave experience, got an upgrade without asking fair value for money friendly staff arranged our tours at reasonable cost Great breakfast
No wifi signal in the room during stay.
The location was perfect. Great view and the staff were excellent.
beautiful view, very helpful management, good breakfast
The sunset view was so good. There was able to meet ballon fights.
Location was bit far from citycenter.
Great breakfast and nice staff.
The wifi only worked in one corner of the room, which we couldn't use because it was dusty and gave us a headache.
The lady is very friendly and welcoming, the place is great, the room was comfortable and the traditional breakfast was very good. Sleeping in a cave is an amazing experience.
The wifi didn't work properly in the room, but my friends were able to use it outside and in the dining room.
Loved the cave rooms and the manager who was friendly and helpful and was very kind to our family and children.
I wished there would have been a TV in the room. Also the size of our 2 bedroom was small. We were out all day sightseeing so it didn't matter that much, but with kids a bit more space would've been welcomed. Wifi did NOT work in the rooms, only in the common areas.
superb treatment by the staff
we had a very plesant stay. The staff was really nice and helpful . rooms are amazing and very nice breakfast !
It was amazing to live in a cave, even for a few days. The hotel has a good location. Not in the center where it is crowded, but it's close to downtown. The service was excellent.
There was one guy who didnt speak much English. He would just nod and say yes to everything. Ee didn't get any introduction when we got in the hotel, breakfast timing,.. Etc. Two of our 3 night stay there was no hot water. It was very cold!! The bathroom had a bad smell, the floor/carpet were filthy. Our room wasnt cleaned until we asked them to. They didnt even change the sheet or wipe/vaccum that filthy floor. The owner had the nerve to ask us for a higher price upon our checkout than the original price. During breakfast the owner played the turkish annoying music too high for people who just woke up. It gave me big headaches. I would NEVER stay in that hotel again!!
Its is a beautiful place, with a perfect view and a good value of money :)
We love the location with the amazing views. The staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The great service is consistent- we have stayed there twice and will stay there again.
We were fine because the weather was amazing at night in July but know that there is no A/C. The hotel, obviously, has no control over the weather but that might be something that people take for granted. We were also there in June and it was amazing.
