We had one of the upstairs rooms, not a cave room. The room was ok, but nothing special, the bath room was tiny. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly
Location ok, not the cleanest spot however...good value for the price
Location was great, and the staff is really helpful. They organized for us everything, helped us to rent a car, to book the ballon trip ... Turkish breakfast at the terrace is just great. My room was a cave with private bathroom, excellent value for the price
My room was near the shared bathroom, which was kind of noisy, but I guess that won't happen in other rooms
The location was quite convenient. The staff is helpful and able to speak many languages.
If you are a girl, don't go alone with the staff.
Comfortable cave room with bathroom. Free wireless connection. 10 minutes walk to Open-Air Museum and 5 minutes to the center of Goreme. Very friendly staff.
It was all perfect! Good location: 15 min from Goreme open air with a view to the morning balloon show. Good breakfast, clean. And if you want to dry some clothes, they have the facilites to hang it in the sun. it was more tan Just a hotel, the staff is super friendly, they help whatever you ask and also with your turkish. An amazing place to stay if you are young, but also there was a big group of matture people that was having also great time
Great and friendly family running this place. Super nice and accommodating. Big breakfast.
Simply a nice place to stay, relax and enjoy the beauty of Cappadocia. Owners are very friendly, breakfast is good and location optimal.
The view from the patio, the breakfast. It's quiet and near starts of hikes and open air museum. Our room was not in a cave, it's was alright but nothing amazing. Just good! Nice and warming people
Room was nice and clean and staff was very friendly.Hotel has a great location and relaxed atmosphere.
Orhan and his staff are fantastic. Very close to the center and the main places to visit.
The location is great and Orhan is the best in Turkey at making you feel welcome and at home at his pension. He speaks great English and will help you with anything.
Great location and with a friendly (but laid back) host who was happy to organise or help you do your own activities. Quiet enough but very central.
Rooms seemed cool at first but needed more air flow at night.
You need a great effort to lock the room door properly
Perfect location, friendly staff, good breakfasts, excellent price!
It was a bit cold in the cave room on May 6. The were radiators in the room, but they didn't work. But we were given a lot of warm blankets! :) The room was clean, but there were some strange crumbs in the bed..
Ohran is a very sociable host and makes you feel very welcome. Very flexible and will assist in any way he can. I received an upgrade and had a very comfortable lower room with a good shower. Breakfast is Turkish style and sufficient for a good start to the day. Internet was excellent.
Like all older properties better electrical layout would be an improvement. Everything else is good
It is located in 5 minutes from the station. Friendly, friendly personnel, good breakfasts. Number corresponds to the price.
I came here with my two friends and we had a blast! We got a triple cave room which was cool. But what really made us feel at home was Orhan and his family! They were really helpful and if you needed anything, they would be willing to help. Overall, our 2 night stay was too short and if we come again,we would love to stay here again.
Very friendly & helpful staff, lovely chill out area, great location, felt very welcomed & at home - they have a sweet little cat named Lazy who loves a cuddle. Would definitely stay again!
I like everything about this pension!
Very nice and cosy cave-like setting. Location of the host is very near the city centre of Goreme. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Orhan was a very helpful host. He gave good advice on sightseeing attractions and booked airport shuttles for us. The common area was nice to sit in and there were always free hot drinks available. Breakfast was good. Great location. Within walking distance to the open air museum which takes around 15 minutes. Good views from the decking of the hot air balloons in the mornings.
We wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel in winter as it was very cold, especially in the cave room, but other times of the year it would be a good option. We had to get an extra heater for the room and the heating was turned off one night. The staff gave us extra blankets but the rooms are inadequately heated for the cold winter in Goreme. The bathroom had a bad odour and water leaked out from the shower into the room. The bathroom was very small and shower was not enclosed.
Manager went out of his way to help when any problem arose. Great scrambled eggs for breakfast. Could get cups of tea any time . Warm sitting room where people could gather.
Room was not very warm until I made a complaint and in some rooms the doors weren't sealed so it was cold. However when I colinde I was moved to another room and given an extra heater.
Staff were helpful. Tea or coffee free all day. Right in the middle of town. Great views.
The great thing about this quaint little hotel is the people (and pet animal) working there. The owner, Orhan was very helpful but also a little bit cheeky (the good way!!). His assistant, Furkhan was very welcoming and polite. He prepared us very good omelette for breakfast every morning and always offered us drinks whenever we were at the common area. The last night we were there he even cooked us popcorn. We really enjoyed his company and appreciate his willingness to teach us Turkish while watching Kurtlar Vadisi (Turkish mafia TV show!!). The cleaning lady was also very nice and friendly though we forgot to ask her name. We were also very delighted and charmed by the playful manner of the hotel's resident cat, Lazy (not sure if it's the correct spelling). We highly recommend this hotel and definitely will book again if we ever come to Cappadocia again.
