Ottomans Tugra Hotel  

The Hotel was very well situated in the Sultanamet neighbourhood only 5 minutes away from the Blue Mosque. We stayed in a beautiful room with an incredible terrace. The staff was very nice and I want to give special thanks to Eyup and to Zuhal who made our stay magic!

The only negative things that I could say is the fact that the roof terrace is closed during the winter months... But this isn't their fault! You must also know that the omelets offered at breakfast are charged to your bill.

Breakfast in the dark down room -1 floor. All personal from this room were freindly and nice! But owner of this hotel will meet you even with out "hi" and without any smile! She looks so angry. As we are living there for free.

The Hilfon is a very comfortable hotel ..home from home. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very modern. It is close to all the main attractions...just a 10 minute walk away

We had a very nice stay at the Hilfon recently. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. The room was very nice and the bathroom was newly renovated with a fantastic shower!!! The bed was very comfortable and the heating in the room was very good. It is also located very close to all the sights of Istanbul. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was very good too.

The walls are quite thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us very easily.

Unfortunately, there are no fresh fruits on the breakfast, and floor carpets in the rooms a little dirty

De service van het personeel. Het dakterras werd zogenaamd verbouwd, dit was naar ons idee niet zo. Vanwege het dakterras hadden we het hotel geboekt. Dus wel een tegenvaller dat we er 'sochtends en 's avonds niet konden zitten.

Het bed is goed, verder is het niet vies maar daar is ook al het positieve mee gezegd.

De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is enorm scheef, wij verwachtten best veel voor een suite kamer maar hadden (kamer 3e etage): geen gordijnen, douche die steeds stopte, chronisch verstopt putje in wasbak, kluis die niet gebruikt kon worden, dorpel lag los waardoor je zowat je nek brak. Onze vrienden zaten op begane grond/kelder en zaten opgesloten want deur/raam kon niet open (sleutel was kwijt), kluis kon niet gebruikt worden (was alleen bij hun zeiden ze maar onze kamer had dat ook), als je de la opentrok viel deze uit elkaar, tv deed het niet. Personeel sprak amper engels waardoor er ook niets aan de klachten werd gedaan. Verder moet je een enorm steile helling oplopen naar Sultanahmet, erg slecht voor minder valide mensen! Wij zijn echt geen klagers en wel wat gewend maar ik vond het gewoon een oude bende voor 110 euro per nacht! Ook ligt het naast een moskee dus 5.40 uur gewekt met het gebed, vonden wij niet zo heel erg (had wel wat en als je genoeg drinkt 's avonds slaap je er doorheen ;-)) maar kan begrijpen dat niet iedereen het waardeert... Ontbijt hebben we uit voorzorg maar geen gebruik van gemaakt, oogde wel heel erg armoedig! Zou niemand dit hotel aanraden!

Хорошее месторасположение. До Голубой мечети 7 минут, до Святой Софии - 10, до остановки трамвая - 10, правда идти в горку и довольно крутую. Самое приятное было то, что приехали мы в 6 утра, а заселение только с 14 часов, но нам сразу дали ключик и мы заселились, дополнительную плату не взяли за пол дня.

Мы бронировали трехместный номер с полноценными кроватями, нас заселили в двухместный номер с дополнительной кроватью-раскладушкой. Не было обещанного балкона и чайника и комната на троих была маловата. Утюг не нашелся во всем отеле, хотя его так же обещали в номере. Очень скромные завтраки: сыр 2 видов, хлопья с молоком, овощи. Терраса была закрыта.
