Urkmez Hotel  

Jimmy and everyone were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good with nice view from the roof top. We felt at home. Thank you Jimmy and everyone for the souvenir, the discount, and the hospitality!

The hotel offers good value for money. The views from the breakfast terrace are spectacular, and the hotel is close to both the bus and train stations. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English.

Not a good supply of hot water, and our bathroom was not cleaned [we stayed two nights], nor was the bin for toilet tissue emptied.

Location- very close to bus and trian station in selcuk. Free wifi.decent breakfast, nice terrace on the roof with view of castle.friendly staff.good price

Rooms nothing special, basic furniture but price was cheap.hot water unreliable at times, and its close by a mosque, so expect at 5am some charming chants..

My only regret was staying just 2 nights! The hotel was clean, nicely run, and close to all the sites in Ephesus and Selcuk. The laundry service and Wi-Fi were excellent services and the daily breakfast was great. Initially the hotel was a little hard to find, but once we found it, it was very centrally located to the historic sites and family owned restaurants. Would certainly stay here again!

The location which is near to the railway station, restaurants, shops, market, post office etc.which is very convenient .The room , although small, was bright and airy and had a balcony facing the castle. Breakfast was good and the view from the terrace is wonderful. The staff ( Juju, Jimmy ,Celvi ) were very accomodating , helpful and they were full of smiles. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time in Selcuk.

The hotel was about 1/2 block from the train station and 2 blocks from the bus station. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Only 1 person didn't speak much English, but he used Google translate to help communicate. The room was very clean and quiet, even though it was over the street. Breakfast was included and was very nicely done. It was a rooftop salon and had a nice view. There were plenty of places to eat near by. I recommend Wallabies, around the corner. The owner was super friendly and the food was great! There is also a hamam nearby that was also great to visit. The staff helped arrange a taxi or mini bus to and from Ephesus and a day trip to Pamukkale. All made very simple with their assistance. I would recommend staying here to all my friends and family.

It is a LITTLE hard to see the entrance. The laundry next door stands out more, but once you find it, you have no problems. There is no elevator, but the staff will help carry luggage.

Our stay at Urkmez was a really enjoyable one, it is a cozy little place run by 2 friendly brothers, Jimmy and Juju who were both very helpful and nice. The place is clean, comfy and is very centrally located in Selcuk. The breakfast room upstairs has a really nice view over the town, though we came in winter it was still cosy and besutiful. Definitely recommended!

Staff servıce ıs good

The room ıs too cold. The facılıty of shower does not be provıded the hot water as a result my husband does not on that nıght. ıT ıs a wınter day. ıT ıs too bad. ıF thıs hotel ıs ımproved that problem, ıt wıll be a good hotel.

Very kind staff. In the late evening, they allowed me to use the kitchen for my personnel cooking. It takes just 4-5minutes from hotel to bus terminal or to train station or efes musium. In our room we can see the saint John's church. It islocated in central location of selcuk city.
