The staff. Always friendly and helpful. Yusuf is really nice indeed, as I read on many comments. The amazing view from the rooftop. Breakfast there was a pleasure every morning. The room was clean. We asked for a baby crib, a heater and an electric kettle -all requests granted, quickly and efficiently. We hadn't booked airport transfer but Yusuf arranged that quickly after I called him from the airport (taxis were a ripoff, asking for 180tl one way!). Much appreciated. Value for money is great. We had free access to the kitchen, which came in really handy as we had some baby food to keep refrigerated or heat up.
I guess the breakfast itself wasn't anything too exciting, but it was definitely okay (bread, jam, omelets, salads, cheese, watermelon, instant coffee, tea,...) and compensated by the fantastic view and the 2 friendly staff members. Disliked the fact that there was no restaurant. But again, they let us have dinner on the rooftop and use the kitchen, so wasn't too much of an issue. There were almost no clients (late october), so it was pretty quiet but I guess soundproofing isn't great and it could get noisy when packed. More of a backpackers kind of place.
Great views from the top terrace, good location
Old and small triple bedroom
Location is ideal. Rooms were clean and spacious. Towels, soaps/shampoos were available in washrooms.
Very poor/no wifi signals reception in dormitory. Receptionist attitude wasn't helping one.
Very cheap. Very helpful (and laid back) staff, excellent buffet breakfasts, nice room. Really nice panoramic vista .. Lots of outside places to relax. Plus very funky decorations/artifacts. In Goreme (the heart of the fantastic Cappodocian rock formations)
Goreme has become a bit of a cricus (overpriced ballon trips, quad bikes etc etc). But this ids not tyhe fault of Valleypark
+ The hotel is located close to the center and in the same time it is away from the noise. + It is very quiet place with nice garden, fantastic view from the terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast. + Free pickup service from the bus station. + Very open, friendly and supportive staff. They helped us with the organization of our day tours and balloon flight. + Because our bus back to Istanbul was later in the night, they offered us to keep our luggage in the hotel for the day, when we checked out, and also offered us to have a shower if we want just before we leave. + Really great value for the money. I would recommend it to my friends.
Nothing. Everything about our stay was just perfect.
Breakfast and the beds!
The wifi signal
The hotel was great, especially considering the low price. Breakfast was OK and served in a particularly beautiful location (open terrace ar the hotel's roof with a panoramic view of the capadocian landscape). Wifi worked, even if the signal wasn't very strong. Our room was clean and comfy. Good hotel not only for backpackers but for all low budget travellers.
Most of the staff didn't speak English, which caused us a little misunderstanding at the end of out stay (despite asking, it was impossible to find out when we had to check out, and later a guy who couldn't say a word in english tried to hurry us out of the room without even giving us five minutes to pack).
Yussuf, the best receptionist ever! Tessekur ederim
breakfast, view from the terrace
Reception is NOT 24hours open. When we arrived about 1am, reception was closed, lights was turned off, the staff was sleeping in other room, even we'd given a notice of our arrival time in advance. Also we booked a twin-bed room, but they gave me a double-bed room. It was definitely their mistake but they didn't apologize us and just said 'will change a room tomorrow'. Very rude and no sense of responsibility.
great location, friendly stuff and amazing terrace. Hearty breakfast and cleaned rooms
Good staff, room clean and comfortable, very amazing view from the terrace, near Open Air Museum. Special thanks to Yusuf, person smailing, available.
We loved valley park hotel! The view was amazing- we absolutely enjoyed breakfast every morning! It's just a 5 min walk from the town centre but gives you privacy and views which we thought was a bonus! Staff we're amazing and helped us with everything, so helpful and easygoing!! Loved it!
everybody was so friendly, Yusuf and his family did very well. rooms were so clean.
nothing to mention
I like the host. He is very thoughtful for the tourists. And the location is perfect. I did not have breakfast but i knew it was included.
Yusuf was a great host, the hostel was the best value for money deal
really close from Goreme city center. Amazing view from the breakfast room. complete breakfast compared to other hotels.
Nice roof terrace, good rooms, reasonable price.
No air conditioning in rooms.
Very nice place and view from terrace Comfi room "royal" breakfast
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the middle of July, 2014, and never regretted. It is a wonderful place. The hotel location is just a five minute walk from the center of Goreme town where many shops and restaurants are situated. The building and the yard are very neat and cozy, full of old household stuff which serves a good authentic decoration. The hotel has a free parking for several guest cars. There is a nice terrace where you can enjoy the incredibly great panoramic view of Goreme valley, especially in the morning, while having your breakfast, and in the evening. The personal is very friendly, warm, hospitable, cooperative and ready to provide help in any situation; one can feel as if at home. We had a room on the second floor with king-size bed, an armchair and everything you need to accommodate your luggage and stuff. There was a great bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned every day. We did not notice any problems with hot water, WiFi, breakfast and so on. We do notice a low accommodation price and hearty welcome. Would we travel to Cappadocia once again we will stay at this place with pleasure.
None. Just do not expect it a five star top rated hotel with king apartments and you really love your stay here :))
very relaxed place with nice breakfast (with sweet watermelon when we were there). The view from and the pillows on the rooftop-terrace invite to chill there all day (that s what my husband prefered :) At the same time, Valleypart hotel offered a perfect starting point for hiking tours through the valleys (especially the one to uchisar!) for my son and me.
although the description said that a babybed can be provided, upon arrival we learnt that it was not available...
Rooftop area, great decor, charming. Amazing views, especially great for watching sunset. Very close to shops etc. Lots of charm and character.
Room was a little cramped, and bathroom floor needed one of those mops to wipe down.
This was horrible, mold on the walls, dirty sheets. We ended up leaving and not staying even one night. Even though thier policy was one night payment for cancellation they charged us for all nights. We even showed him the cancellation on thier website to no avail...horrible stay away!!!!
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Owner was thoughtful, bought a birthday cake for my wife and surprised her with it. Best value in town.
Good Place. good breakfast. Good staffs. Clean. Everything was perfact
Everything was good
Stayed at a twin room. the room was a bit small but it was okay given the price. The breakfast wasn't the best, but it was okay too.
Stayed for 2 nights, and the shared bathroom was never cleaned. Probably because there were only 7~10 guests including me and my friend during our stay, but I think they should've cleaned it regularly. The staffs were pretty friendly, but they took a better care of the female guests; talking and giving a cup of cay only to them and etc. Lastly, the hostel is a bit far away from the center. It's about 10 mins walking, but the weather in Göreme is hot enough to make you sweat even after 5 mins of walking.
