Central location, Access to Taksim square. The hotel is old, and the rooms need renovation. The air condition is licking and the external rooms have too much noise from the central road underneath. |

The proximity to Taksim Square made it ideal for getting to other areas in Istanbul. Breakfast buffet was also more than adequate. The noise during the night and into early hours of the morning. We had a street facing room and the noise from traffic meant little sleep was had until about 3am |

The room and facilities were beautiful, and the staff very helpful. We were on the street side and initially concerned about noise, but it was fairly well buffered and did not disrupt our sleep. |

I stayed in a single room for one night. It was really-really very small, even smaller than many European hotels could be. The window faced a wall (i.e. no view at all). However, it was clean, the furniture and bathroom was new, and the personnel was ok. The breakfast was also ok, but could be better. |

Hotel's location is very good: shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are near by. From Taksim you can still reach all the palaces and museums easily. Sultanahmet is nice place to visit at day time but all the "action" is in Taksim. |

Great location near Taksim square. Free internet connection in the lobby. Check in was pretty fast. This really is not a 4 star hotel. Sound-proofing is very poor, you can hear without difficulty normal conversation from other rooms. The staff was not friendly enough. The room was quite dark and needs some repairs. |

The staff were lovely. Free internet in the lobby. Nice decor. Good sized room. Good value. Interesting area with good eateries. Not easy to get to. Street is narrow and crowded with taxi traffic. Footpath is narrow and difficult to negotiate carrying / dragging luggage. Street is very noisy but we had a back facing room so were ok. |

nice roof terrace and its central location The street in front of the hotel is quite loud at night and water of the the room on top of me was dripping into my shower, so make sure you hit the shower before the one above you does so as I am not sure it was clean water ;-) |

Location near Taksim Square, main shopping street (Iskatal), walk to Istanbul Technical University. Small balcony onto street, french doors, view up and down street, and good, bright daylight (not dark and gloomy at all). Room was spacious (#501). Good place to work on writing reports. Crisp bed linens, clean and white; very comfortable. No desk; had to sit at dressing table to use computer. Wished for a more comfortable reading chair, but made do. |

I liked the convenient location so close to eerything I had to do....very central, compact, close to transport to airport, and staff like JAN at the check in desk very helpful, Before I was always hosted and this time I was alone so it was a good experience for me. |
