Score from 96 reviews Very good
Most of all hotel has very good localization. It is near the bus station and market and in the city center. You can reach local monuments (mainly St. John cathedral) in 20 minutes walk. Additionally it is on the main street where once or twice a week there is fruit and vegetables market. Hotel is run by 2 older people, that are very friendly. Room was small (top floor) but it had big terrace. Selcuk and this hotel are very good place to make your hitchhiking base and travel all a round this part of Turkey. Bus station has very vast connection options and additionally you have train station also very near. So you can visit not only Efes, but also many other places in 100km radius.
Room was quite small with tiny bathroom. Hotel is tall so going to the last floor takes some time and effort. Wifi on the last floor was very poor. Owners are very likable and greet you in English several times a day, but unfortunately you cannot go any further with discussion :) So there are few minuses but overall very good choice.
The location - very close to the otogar; easy to find and easy to catch transport to Ephesus and Kusadasi.
The bed and pillow weren't good; the bathroom was poor. Generally the facilities are a bit tired. The wifi didn't work.
The owners were really nice Excellent location near the bus station and 5 min walk distance to train station Good price
no lift If your room is on the 5th floor you will lose the wifi. Good otherwise. Breakfast a bit small
assez sonore pas très intime petit déjeuner
Breakfast included. Good overall value.
Straightforward staff, clean rooms, central location.
Some rooms are on the fourth floor, no elevator.
Breakfast very nice & fresh & the setting was good. The young girl who welcomed us was lovely. A very good accomodation for what you pay.
The staircase kept us fit & the wifi was a bit patchy in our room. Minor issues though ^^.
clean room, nice balcony, new bathroom
quite poor breakfast
Home made jam was amazing
The bathroom was terrible; I could not sleep 'cause of the restless bed
price is reasonable. host is fair and family run.
the bed is too soft. the shower room is small. the lock is not so secure.
location just 150m walk to bus stand value for money clean room w tv n ac
breakfast lack of information available no english or interest to help
Simple, friendly family run place- a basic, clean room with a balcony was just what we needed!
The owner met me when I arrived at the bus station with a big smile. :) So lucky and surprise. The room is clean and comfortable, there is enough space and sunshine for me to dry my laundry (it's so important for me during my journey :). Nice and friendly family, location is excellent, only 3 minute walk to the bus station.
Very comfortable twin beds Excellent shower Very friendly and helpful owner and family Efficient booking system
Old equipment room, no elevator
Great location, quiet but central; very generous and accessible staff; super rates.
Wi-Fi was unpredictable, but big deal!
Good location, clean and cheap. Everything is passable. 地點離巴士站很近，房間簡單乾淨，且不貴，勉強過得去。
The wifi was very strong and the staff was friendly and always willing to help. The location is great, too. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and look as if they have been recently remodeled. There is also plenty of hot water.
While the staff was very friendly, they almost assumed a sort of mother/grandmother responsibility for my female friend and I (two of us women). We met up with a long time male friend in Izmir but they refused to let him come to our room to borrow our computer and wouldn't even let him stay outside the front with us (at night) to use the wifi. They just kept telling him to come back during daylight. Also, they lock the door so if you come back to the rooms after 9 or so, you have to ask them to unlock the door for you to get to your room. My friend tried to leave the hotel at night but they told her no, it was too dangerous, and wouldn't let her go alone. I would say this is a great place for families, men, or couples. But, if you're a young female (or two young females), the kind concern for your safety might be a bit too constrictive.
Friendship of owner
no direction to find hotel
Good rates :) -- Close to the train station Friendly staff. -- Strong Wi-Fi signal and good Internet connection. -- Clean room.
No elevator so we had to carry our backpacks and climb up to the fifth floor. -- The room had paint smell but I guess it'd wear off soon.
Simple and cheerful. Wifi is the best in all hotel we have stayed in Turkey, which means you can have excellent connection in your bed rather than in the lobby.
Location close to the Otogar. Very friendly old couple that run the place. Comfortable room and good breakfast.
Nothing - was all good!
Great location. Far enough from "downtown" restaurants and bars but close enough to walk to. Friendly and helpful staff. Great rates.
Hotel is a family run pension located in a residential apartment building, which some floors converted into hotel rooms. Reasonably clean and very close to the otogar.
