Water leakage in the bath room was not fixed.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel staff drove us to a Goreme Open Air Musuem without any charge. The hotel is near to the town center.
I love Ertan - the owner and his staff. They are so helpful and always aim to do more. Vezir cave is a luxury that doesn't cost an arm and a leg ! Will miss cappadocia and vezir cave !!
Ertan and staff made us feel welcome and made all our travel arrangements in a professional manner. Made our visit to Goreme one of our best stays.
The breakfast is nice~ especially the honey~ Helpful staff ~ The tour driver they suggested is nice also~ Thank u so much~
WiFi is not working in the rooms, BUT its a cave so dont expect good signal in there:) In other areas the signal was pretty good!
Very nice place, centrally located, with great views from the rooms located on higher floors. The owner of the hotel was so helpful and caring. Thank you very much for the coat I got for few days as didnt have proper clothes with me! Also I booked the room on the first floor and we were upgraded for free to the room with the best view - thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay even more!
-ALOT of stairs to reach any of the room with a view -Not a cheap hotel compare to similar one around
-View from the hotel (the suite at the top was our room ) -Staff was polite and helpful -Breakfast was small but good -Room was beautiful with fireplace and jacuzzi
1.wonderful location and good view 2. Breakfast tasty and Omelette is the best! 3. The stuffs are very welcoming and helpful and general 4 room is well decorated and comfortable
The bed was a little uncomfortable, but was useable. The wi-fi was pretty much unusable inside the suites, but that's simply due to the fact that wi-fi signals have trouble penetrating thick solid rock walls. Recommendation: get a mobile wi-fi hotspot and put it in the window - it works great. Parking was free, directly outside the main entrance, but space was at a premium, and the area was on a very steep incline. Most mornings we were double and/or triple parked in, and had to wait for others to move their vehicles - this really wasn't an issue for us as people were very good about moving when needed. I can only imagine what it might be like in the high season! Otherwise, we have no complaints.
We booked at Vezir in the Junior Suite for 4 nights. Our room was on the main level just a step up from the main patio, which was perfect for travelling with an infant and the associated baggage! The room was warm and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and heat. The room was well laid out, with plenty of power outlets. Our hosts prepared an excellent daily breakfast with omelettes and gozlem (sp?) - little pancakes, and plenty of fruits and vegetables, jams, yoghurt, juice, tea, and coffee. They were very helpful in booking our balloon ride with an excellent company. We chose not to book any other guided tours, but they have deals available for those as well. The two gentlemen that hosted us were always courteous and very helpful. We would book here again in a heartbeat.
Certain rooms have less than ideal wifi, but that wasn't really an issue.
The staff was incredibly hospitable. They made local breakfast and gave us great advice about the city. They also arranged a shuttle to and from the airport for us and were available very late in the night. Thanks for a great weekend :)
One room for some reason was always freezing by the middle of the night. Staff was apologetic but was not able to fix the problem. The other room smelled a little due to lack of ventilation likely. Wifi was spotty in the rooms which we expected and knew when we booked because of reviews. When we went to pay, credit card reader wouldn't take our chip credit cards. We think their credit card reader requires pin and chip. It resulted in us having to pay an extra fee charged by the credit card company given we had to use a pin and chip specific credit card.
Staff was super nice. Very friendly. Made us extra eggs one day since we were still hungry. Views were pretty good. We stayed in winter so couldn't make use of awesome patio space and areas to relax outdoors and enjoy the view.
The staff service were excellent regardless on helping us on booking tours or calling around to help us putting on winter gear for our car. Appreciate their extra mile of customer service and showing the helpfulness of the Turkish people. Made our stay there a pleasant one so please keep up the good work!
The attention of the staff, here was the key for having an unforgettable experience. They really treat you like a friend and give you the best recommendations for activities and restaurants. this is one must stay hotel. I want to give special thanks to Mustafa Akman, who made of our stay a magical experience.
Nothing for the hotel except the weather in Goreme. Our hot air balloon tour was canceled due to bad weather (strong wind) while we were there for for 2 nights stay... :(
The owner and his staff are very friendly. They welcome us at the main gate when our shuttle was arrived. They offered us with a nice package tour and suggested for a free walking distance sightseeing such as the Goreme open air museum. They also arranged for a nice old-fashioned family restaurant, which is usually busy at night. The location is perfect! It's only 5 minute walk to downtown. The room has a real cave style with a big sleeping room and a bid shower room with a big wire pool. The building is very good. You can even take your picture with the background of the hotel.
I like everything about this hotel. The room is very spacious and warm (I was a little worried about coldness in winter) And, it has a very nice jacuzzi. Most of all, people are very kind and nice. I will strongly recommend my frineds to stay this hotel if they would go to Goreme.
Extremely smelly toilet and the heavy smell of cheap perfume they used to try to cover the smell. The score of 9 appears to be a gross exaggeration.
It is a cave hotel. The staff were helpful.
nothing comes to mind
space in the room large bathtub location in relation to the center of the city parking assistance from the owners (Mustafa)
I don't like that they serve the same breakfast every single day. They should provide a shuttle to bring us down/up the hill cause climbing up with a pram and a baby is a chore. They should be able to accept cards for tours and activities as well. No iron/ iron board was available Heater was not functioning well. TV channel was all in turkish language. None in English.
I like that it's near to the shopping area and restaurant.
No complaints at all.
Good experience, all info communicated well.
good atention, goog breackfast and they gave us lots of good tips for tours and transportation.
Mustafa, mustafa and mustafa. He is one piece of gentleman. Who knows how to treat with guests and make their valuable stay utmost comfortable. Although the hotel is bit old but Mustafa is the one who is running the show. Taking good care of guests, preparing breakfast, booking trips, providing valuable information regarding city and whatever question you have in your mind. I recommend everyone to mist stay at vezir cave suits.
The experience of staying in a cave hotel is magical, as was watching the hot air balloons at sunrise through our bedroom window! Beautiful cave suite. The staff were truly friendly and hospitable .... even drove us to the entry of the Love Valley for our hike. Great breakfast with excellent range of local foods. Loved the traditional egg dish ... menemen!
The walk up to your room is quite steep and alot of stairs so you need to consider this if you are not able bodied.
What a fabulous location. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic fresh omelette cooked each day as well as cold meats cheese cereals and sweet options. Mustafa was the kindest young man really helpful giving us advice on trips and details of places to visit. He made my birthday celebrations a day to remember. He will remain a great friend.
No pool. But who has time to swim while visiting cappadoccia anyway?
Excellent hotel and location. Great service, handled everything smoothly. Breakfast was nice and fresh and the rooms were spotless! Definitely would recommend.
Our room was not cleaned one night - minor oversight but no big deal. Hotel was a little hard to find and we were constantly getting turned around but I think that might be a problem with all of the hotels in that area.
Ertan and his staff were amazing. So helpful with everything from suggestions for our sightseeing to making sure our dinner reservations were made and we could find our way. The breakfast was so good - especially the traditional turkish eggs and the bread! I will miss that. We will definitely recommend to our friends. Thanks again for everything!
The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The stuff were fantastic, hospitable and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, fresh delicious food. The location was perfect. I would go back again.
