Score from 306 reviews Very good
The staff was incredibly hospitable. They made local breakfast and gave us great advice about the city. They also arranged a shuttle to and from the airport for us and were available very late in the night. Thanks for a great weekend :)
Certain rooms have less than ideal wifi, but that wasn't really an issue.
Staff was super nice. Very friendly. Made us extra eggs one day since we were still hungry. Views were pretty good. We stayed in winter so couldn't make use of awesome patio space and areas to relax outdoors and enjoy the view.
One room for some reason was always freezing by the middle of the night. Staff was apologetic but was not able to fix the problem. The other room smelled a little due to lack of ventilation likely. Wifi was spotty in the rooms which we expected and knew when we booked because of reviews. When we went to pay, credit card reader wouldn't take our chip credit cards. We think their credit card reader requires pin and chip. It resulted in us having to pay an extra fee charged by the credit card company given we had to use a pin and chip specific credit card.
The staff service were excellent regardless on helping us on booking tours or calling around to help us putting on winter gear for our car. Appreciate their extra mile of customer service and showing the helpfulness of the Turkish people. Made our stay there a pleasant one so please keep up the good work!
The attention of the staff, here was the key for having an unforgettable experience. They really treat you like a friend and give you the best recommendations for activities and restaurants. this is one must stay hotel. I want to give special thanks to Mustafa Akman, who made of our stay a magical experience.
The owner and his staff are very friendly. They welcome us at the main gate when our shuttle was arrived. They offered us with a nice package tour and suggested for a free walking distance sightseeing such as the Goreme open air museum. They also arranged for a nice old-fashioned family restaurant, which is usually busy at night. The location is perfect! It's only 5 minute walk to downtown. The room has a real cave style with a big sleeping room and a bid shower room with a big wire pool. The building is very good. You can even take your picture with the background of the hotel.
Nothing for the hotel except the weather in Goreme. Our hot air balloon tour was canceled due to bad weather (strong wind) while we were there for for 2 nights stay... :(
I like everything about this hotel. The room is very spacious and warm (I was a little worried about coldness in winter) And, it has a very nice jacuzzi. Most of all, people are very kind and nice. I will strongly recommend my frineds to stay this hotel if they would go to Goreme.
It is a cave hotel. The staff were helpful.
Extremely smelly toilet and the heavy smell of cheap perfume they used to try to cover the smell. The score of 9 appears to be a gross exaggeration.
space in the room large bathtub location in relation to the center of the city parking assistance from the owners (Mustafa)
nothing comes to mind
I like that it's near to the shopping area and restaurant.
I don't like that they serve the same breakfast every single day. They should provide a shuttle to bring us down/up the hill cause climbing up with a pram and a baby is a chore. They should be able to accept cards for tours and activities as well. No iron/ iron board was available Heater was not functioning well. TV channel was all in turkish language. None in English.
Good experience, all info communicated well.
No complaints at all.
good atention, goog breackfast and they gave us lots of good tips for tours and transportation.
Mustafa, mustafa and mustafa. He is one piece of gentleman. Who knows how to treat with guests and make their valuable stay utmost comfortable. Although the hotel is bit old but Mustafa is the one who is running the show. Taking good care of guests, preparing breakfast, booking trips, providing valuable information regarding city and whatever question you have in your mind. I recommend everyone to mist stay at vezir cave suits.
The experience of staying in a cave hotel is magical, as was watching the hot air balloons at sunrise through our bedroom window! Beautiful cave suite. The staff were truly friendly and hospitable .... even drove us to the entry of the Love Valley for our hike. Great breakfast with excellent range of local foods. Loved the traditional egg dish ... menemen!
What a fabulous location. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic fresh omelette cooked each day as well as cold meats cheese cereals and sweet options. Mustafa was the kindest young man really helpful giving us advice on trips and details of places to visit. He made my birthday celebrations a day to remember. He will remain a great friend.
The walk up to your room is quite steep and alot of stairs so you need to consider this if you are not able bodied.
Excellent hotel and location. Great service, handled everything smoothly. Breakfast was nice and fresh and the rooms were spotless! Definitely would recommend.
No pool. But who has time to swim while visiting cappadoccia anyway?
Ertan and his staff were amazing. So helpful with everything from suggestions for our sightseeing to making sure our dinner reservations were made and we could find our way. The breakfast was so good - especially the traditional turkish eggs and the bread! I will miss that. We will definitely recommend to our friends. Thanks again for everything!
Our room was not cleaned one night - minor oversight but no big deal. Hotel was a little hard to find and we were constantly getting turned around but I think that might be a problem with all of the hotels in that area.
The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The stuff were fantastic, hospitable and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, fresh delicious food. The location was perfect. I would go back again.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was gorgeous!! Great value for money. It was a great location. The view was amazing. You MUST wake up early in the morning (around 6.30am) to see all the hot air balloons rise up. It is just like to pictures you see. Simply stunning!!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is perfectly located with 2 huge fairy chimneys rights in front of it. What a view! The staff is very sweet, polite and cordial. The young boy at the reception (forgot his name) was very nice and soft spoken. Breakfast has limited variety but they make fresh omelets as u like. Very clean place. Highly recommended!
Room tip: there is not much difference in deluxe suit and normal suit. In fact normal suit room size is a bit big. The deluxe suit is on the highest floor which is very painful to climb (no lift). Also the hotel is on a hill so the total climb gets a little tiring. So choose a normal suit on the middle floor. The room is v good and view is equally stunning. And also it is cheaper. The quality of the bath toiletries provide was not good. But that's passable as we always carry our own body wash and shampoos.
Daily breakfast was quite delicious which was more than expected. Location is well for good view outside.
kind and supportive staff clean and modern room in cave delicious omelet
no hot air balloon because of weather
Vezir Cave Suites is a wonderful place to stay in Goreme. Its location is very good, near the Sunset spot. You can see the whole town there, and in the morning you can just stand in the balcony to see the balloons. The room is suitable, and the skylight is awsome. They treated us in so much patience. They helped us to book the ATV bike tour and answered us many detailed questions. The breakfast was also nice, besides the regular buffet, they also cooked us the scramble eggs and roasted sausages. And what the most convenient thing is you can have your shower bath in their bathroom even after you have checked out.
This property has many highlights but I believe what makes it truly remarkable is the staff. We traveled as a large family group with seniors and a small child, so not the easiest group. The hotel staff made our three days in Goreme absolutely unforgettable. They are extremely friendly and welcoming, and considering other than the owner it is only a staff of two, Mustafa and Anil, very efficient. They promptly resolved any of our issues, but went over and above their job to make us feel special and at home. Mustafa deserves a special mention. He is an exceptional concierge, booking excellent restaurants for us in advance (with no prompting from us) and anticipating our needs by organising transportation and even walking us to the restaurants. Furthermore he did what nobody has ever done at a hotel for us which is treat our child with extraordinary love and attention. He filled our room with balloons to surprise her, spent time with her, played with her, got her special meals and snacks. We were so surprised and grateful. This is service above and beyond the call of duty! Anil is also very friendly and helpful. He made special strong coffee and flatbreads for us in the morning. The owner Elat (sp?) and his Aussie wife Tais (sp?), who also own a travel agency, were excellent hosts. The hotel property is lovely, the rooms comfortable, location excellent. In other words, I would look no further for a hotel in Cappadochia! And by the way, I am a very tough guest to please. I gave our 5 star hotel in Istanbul a 1 out of 5 rating.
There is nothing not to like about this hotel.
I especially thank to Mustafa and Anal. They were very kind and nice and tried to help me all the time. Hotel location was great, very close to down town. Room condition also good and breakfast was very good. I was totally satified with the hotel and its employees.
We loved our stay at Vezir Cave Suites. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with great tips on things to see and do in Kapadokya. Our room was beautiful with a stunning view over Goreme. Would highly recommend!
