The kindness of the staff The hotel location Clean Hotel
The hotel owner (or maybe the general manager) I do not know exactly his position but he seems to be the boss) was speaking to his staff very strong accent and loudly. He did not realizes probably that an hotel hall is not a mountain top! Rooms on the main avenue are noisy
Being asked to pay before been allowed to get room key. Lack of customer care
Staff Facility Room No Water for 1 day and No compensation
The maneger was a good person only !!!!
The rooms has no window
The location ,the preak fast ,rooms
excellent location, relaxing pool, nice food, carring staf, interesting enterior design, comfortable bed, wifi free of charge, free computer available at loby, 24/7 reception
pool wasn't heated as advertised, they do heat it only during winter; massage service bit expensive
it was clean and it is little bit near from Sultan Ahmet main area
small rooms and not good staff, they don't speak English well and they are not happy
staff price rooms cleanness noise attitude
Good position, nearest grand bazar and other attraction (10 min by foot). Good breakfast. Very kind receptionists
Not silent room
The location is handy for the Grand Bazaar, and not far from other sights in Sultanahmet, but if you want to be near those, choose one of the places a little closer as this is a location that manages to be busy but not interesting. The basement pool and sauna are ok - though bring a swim cap or they'll insist on selling you one. Good insulation from the considerable street noise, if you keep the window closed but see comments on noise IN the building...
Various problems. Terrible internet that hardly stayed connected long enough to register, as it needed to do every time. Disappointing breakfast - a big spread but not very good quality. From my room on the first floor, constant noise of music from the shop downstairs, coming through the building. Half-hearted cleaning: didn't clean the shower on the days of my stay, rubbish left from previous guests behind the door. One very friendly desk clerk (who seemed surprised when I asked about the noise) but otherwise rather a cold atmosphere.
Staff no good talking English Wifi is not so good
The Reception Staff and the Front Office Manager were very friendly and helpful. The Night Manager did try to help, although I think he was out of his depth. If they could offer me a room on a floor with NO Children or families I would stay again. If you intend to see the sites around Istanbul, this hotel is at an ideal location. Walking distance to the tram station.
The Restaurant Staff was extremely unfriendly. I couldnt figure out if it was just me and my travel companion that they had a problem with, but the animosity was clear as day. They seemed friendly enough with some of the other guests. The walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear as people move around. I was unfortunate enough to stay on a floor that was filled with families staying in different rooms. Some of the rooms included children between the ages of 4 and 12. They spend most of the time up to 01:30am (promise I am not exaggerating) running up and down the corridors, slamming doors, jumping on beds, knocking things over in the rooms. It was complete mayhem. I complained so many times to the hotel and they just kept on going on. So one night at 01:00 am things were so bad that I threatened to leave the hotel. I then got moved to another floor. So I realise that the hotel did talk to the families and nothing changed, but since we complained for three nighs before I got moved, why did they not offer to move me after the first night or the second for that matter? After being so badly disturbed and inconcenienced and having to pack up in the middle of the night to move, I was really surprised that the hotel did not offer me a little discount when it came down to paying the bill. Whatever discount they offered me could have been added on to the other rooms' bill. In the four nights I stayed the bed sheets never got changed. The wrinkled sheets just got pulled straight.
Small room noise every body hearing other rooms (no privacy) During check out the employment told me to carry my bags down by myself . Hhhhhhhhhh AC not good if any one nock the door all people open their door hhhhhh
Everything is poor Food is bad, hotel is not clean, internet is poor,if you loose key you must pay ,if you want late checkout you must pay even head cover for swimming pool you must pay Only location and no more
Loud tv from the next room - poor sound insolation
Location is very good
Clean and very comfortable room. Good location if you want to be in the touristy area and by the tram.
Reception staff not very welcoming. They claim the pool is complimentary, BUT you must wear a swimming cap, which cost $7, so bring your own. Restaurant wasn't open for dinner due to Ramadan, strange as they were serving food for Iftar. Lots of noise from the street, and lots of construction noise from early morning, apparently from the hotel next door.
Staff service and cooperation
Not a lot
Too expensive,for a little gain
it's near to the tram station. i could check in around 11oclock in the morning with upgraded room. very kind and helpful staff. swimming pool(hair cap is needed). i could enjoy the last day of istanbul in this hotel
i should log in wifi whenever i use it. not many restaurants near hotel(all shopping store) even coffee and tea bag is not free in the room.
