Villa Princess  

i traveled with my husband and daughter for almost four weeks through Europe and Turkey from the United States. We visited 5 countries and stayed at numerous hotels. It was a wonderful trip except Villa Princess. The hotel is nice and clean however short on staff. when there is a problem no one is there to help furthermore not willing to help. the only staff is the manager and she has some serious anger problems. she is not helpful, moody, unwilling to help even on issues even that are her job to solve. on the day of our departure there was no power and we asked for her help so we can pack and leave she was yelling and slamming cabinet doors because we woke her up. this is only one of many things made our stay very unpleasant.

Friendly staff

_ We stayed just one night in Marmaris, to catch the early airport shuttle in the morning, so we can not judge the breakfast. _Did not try the pool either, but it's quite small and in front of the street. _ The room and bathroom were spotless clean and rather modern. _ The hotel manager seemed very efficient and helpful (too bad the taxi she booked came a bit too late in the morning, if he ever came at all ... but that's not the point). _ The hotel was not very far from the beach, but the aera is not very pleasant for a holiday... _ Villa Princess seemed in any case more charming than many other hotels we passed by in the area !

_ From what I've seen, I must say the whole city of Marmaris is not very charming, but the old town is really lovely : just climb there, get to a high spot and enjoy the view !

Wht I really liked about is that it's a small villa with nice people coming to it, in other words u feel like home! Its near evth, restaurants, marina, shopping, activities... This hotel just serves u the rest!

The owner has restrictions n sometimes she acts with rudeness so that most of the time ppl try to avoid speaking to her! Cleanliness is another issue, since the owner (bcz there is nobody other than her making the whole things) has put information nexr to every bed tellin ppl that towels shall b changed every 3 days even if its dirty, its the guest problem! So I dunno if its cleanliness or not! For a 2 days stay maybe its good! But personnally won't do it again, bad experience!

We were 4 couples staying one night in Marmaris before a sailing trip. We chose Villa Princess because it looked small and quiet - we did not want a noisy/party atmosphere and did not want waterslides etc which most of the hotels in Marmaris seem to have. It was great value - clean rooms, which were quite spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a few blocks back from the beach and away from the big hotels so was not noisy.

The beds were a little hard, and there was no lift which was fine for us, as we were travelling light, but may be an issue for others.

Villa Princess s a cosy hotel with few rooms distributed on 3 floors, that has been recently renewed. The room furniture are all new. The bathroom has a large shower but a small sink. The hotel is run by 1 lady very amailable that take care of the reception as well as brakfast and everything else. The hotel has a small pool outside. It is located at walking distance (5 min) from the pedestrain area along the beach and approx. 2 km from the castle.

The breakfast could be improved

Loved the staff!! Very helpful, friendly and understanding. The hotel is small, which makes it really feel like home, as does the family approach of the staff. The room was big (double) and there was room for everything! We had a nice balcony where to have a smoke.

Some nights can hear well the music from nearby bar. Also, the air- conditioning really needs a replacement. We stayed in 2 rooms. In the first, even a fan would have worked more effectively than the ac. In the 2nd, the ac was better, but still not enough to quickly cool a room that's quite so big. I would recommend a replacement of the ac to the hotel. I would stay there anyway though because I really enjoyed everything else and the average work of the ac didn't dampen my experience.

A clean and comfortable hotel with a large modern room and bathroom. Relatively quiet in what was otherwise a quite noisy area.

Not sure if this hotel warrants 4 stars. There was no lift and our heavy bags had to be manhandled up the stairs - thankfully only one flight. Breakfast was good.

Small and quaint hotel. The woman who runs the Villa Princess treated me like a princess, anything and everything she could do for me was on offer. Breakfast was presented well and plenty of it...a nice coffee by simply pressing a button. Couple blocks to the beach, shopping and transportation...it really was a delight and I highly recommend it.

The breakfast could have more variety. Bathroom towels were not changed every day.

Friendly and helpful reception, good continental breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and reasonably quiet location.

Small pool, difficult stairs for anyone with mobility problems, and not suitable for small children.
