Atilla and his wife are gracious hosts and I enjoyed every day in this beautiful valley outside of Fethiye because of their hospitality. I would recommend Villa Rhapsody to couples, friends or solo travellers alike, and will definitely be back myself!

Lovely garden with a relaxing pool zone, spent some half days there reading and enjoying the calmness of the setting. The rooms have everything you need for a summer holiday, the missing AC is no problem even in July, as a cooling breeze blows through the valley in the evening. Breakfast (try the fried eggs!) and the homemade cakes in the afternoon are delicious. The dinner is outstanding - Jeanne's modern interpretation of traditional Turkish dishes is so fantastic! Friendly staff and nice people for a talk in the relaxing atmosphere of the pool bar in the evening add to the great impression! A special thanks to owner Attila for the long philosophic talks in the evening. He and his wife Jeanne really look after you!

Villa Rhapsody was heavenly: the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busier resorts in Turkey. The moment we walked through the ornate gates, we felt instantly relaxed. We were warmly greeted by Atilla, the owner, who escorted us to our room and talked us through the basics. We gravitated towards the balcony and were met by the most sensational views of the mountains which fringed the property- a view we will never forget! The pool area was perfectly placed with stunning views of the mountains, beautiful gardens, lounge areas and cooling bar for some time away from the sun. The food was fabulous: starting with the delicious, fresh breakfast choices; the light lunch selection; perfectly timed, complimentary, late afternoon homemade cake and tea; and the very impressive, homely and scrumptious dinner prepared by Atilla's wife, Jeanne. Jeanne and Atilla were the perfect hosts: very approachable and always close by to offer a hand and advice but believe in a 'no hassle' approach-the perfect balance! We enjoyed many conversations and memorable moments with Jeanne, Atilla and their daughter, Lara. This hospitality was also upheld by all staff-who couldn't do enough for us-and the wonderful 2 dogs! For us, Villa Rhapsody was in the perfect location; a 10 minute walk from the ghost town and Kaya village; 25/30 minutes, on the Dolmus (bus stop right outside the gate), to Fethiye & Oludeniz; and 10 minutes drive to Gemilier beach. We are planning to return to Villa Rhapsody next year as we know that we will never find anywhere else in Turkey that will even come close!! Thanks Atilla & Jeanne x

The Villa Rhapsody is like staying in a family home, in fact it is. Couldn’t have stayed at a better place, close to beaches, the deserted town. And what fabulous food, we never thought about eating dinner anywhere else. Attila, Jeanne and their lovely daughter made our stay very special. The entire staff is wonderful!

From the moment we arrived we were treated as one of the family. It was simply like having your own personal villa - pool, bar, fantastic food and service from everyone there. In my opinion it ticked all my boxes and more. We don't normally return to places on holiday - but this will be an exception.

A really special place to stay - Attila and Jeanne , the owners, provide an excellent experience from start to finish. They manage to be attentive to your every need, while never being intrusive or overbearing - we could not have been made to feel more welcome or been better looked after anywhere. The hotel is set in a lovely garden, with a small but very pleasant bar and pool area. Excellent breakfasts are served at your table (a refreshing change from the now ubiquitous buffets), and there is a range of very good light snacks and salads available at lunchtime. In the evening, meals are served around the attractive pool area. There is little or no choice of dishes - Attila will let you know in the morning what is on the menu that evening and you can decide whether to book a table or not, as there are many restaurants in the lovely local village. However, the meals we had were some of the best food we have had in our extensive travels in Turkey, accompanied by some very good wine - especially the house Rose - so in the end we ate there each evening, and had lunches out. After a couple of very relaxing days, you begin to feel that you are almost part of a family house party - reinforced by the friendliness of the two large dogs and the three (four?) delightful cats. All together, a highly enjoyable stay - should we ever return to the area we would undoubtedly stay there again. In fact, it would almost be worth a trip just to do that!.
