I have tagged this stay as a "luxury" stay because of the location in the Old Town and because the low stress homely pensyon service is much better than the full attention (covert hard sell) service you would get at the 5* hotels adjacent to it. Villa Tulipan is a home from home. I cannot think of a thing I didn't like. But don't go there if you cannot handle a few stairs.

We liked the friendliness, the great view from the terrace, the homely artful decor, the lovely shady garden for breakfast. The breakfast was great too. Such close proximity to the harbour. We liked it all!

Very clean and in great location (Old Town). Great view from the balcony, and very nice breakfast of fresh fruits / vegetables and eggs provided. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Requested a double bed, received two twin beds that could be pushed together. It wasn't a big problem, but it would have been nice to know that this request wouldn't be fulfilled before arrival.

the suite has gorgeous view at sea and old port from the balcony with 2 entrances from the sitting room and bedroom - nice place to have a drink or a meal. The rooms tastefully decorated in Holland/tulip theme, the bathroom has a turkish bath motive and facility. Elegantly served breakfast. Amazing staff. Perfect location. would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

The view from the roof terrace, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the helpfullness to make your stay an as positive experience as possible. Pick-up service from and to the airport. The central location with all within walking distance. The collection of art which is part of the interior. Definitely a good choice to book your stay! Nothing, we had a great time.

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at home,Emmy and Mehmett are wonderful hosts. The turkish breakfast is plentiful and good - The boiled eggs are done perfectly every day (I am still wondering how as mine are never consistant). The terrace offers some magnificent views and is very relaxing in the afternoons a perfect sun trap.Villa Tullipan is very central it is 2 minutes walk from the Harbour and about the same from the town centre and tram station. It is certainly somewhere I will stay again and will recomend . I must admit I have a bit of a dodgy knee and the stairs were a bit steep but Mehmett happily carried my case up and down and as there are 2 handrails it was not as difficult as it could have been.

Authentic Turkish hotel in the old building right in the centre of Caleici. Our room was on the third floor so we had a nice view over Antalya bay and Taurus mountains. Hotel is near Mermerli beach, just 5 minutes by foot and restaraunts are also very near The staff was very friendly and English speaking. Our room was cleaned every day and towels were changed regularly. They also serve beautiful breakfast in the morning with traditional olives and cheese Problems with parking are usual for Caleici. The streets are very narrow and sometimes you have to park your car in very difficult conditions

We were fortunate to get Room 225, which was a large suite with a living room/dining room, bedroom with twin beds, and large bath. Most importantly, we had the most beautiful view from our oversized balcony. The courtyard where breakfast was served was delightful, with great tile work, and fantastic service. Emmy and her staff did not leave one thing undone! The 3 rooms where my friends stayed were not nearly on a par with ours. Probably wouldn't have been so bad, if they hadn't seen ours!!!

Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Very nice to deal with. The location was outstanding for Old Town touring. No elevator, and we had the top floor room. As seniors, it was quite a hike up to the top. Also, the lighting at night in the staircase was very poor. I was not able to turn the lights on from the top floor, so I had a very dangerous trip down four flights in the dark.

This is a lovely pension. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The building has so much character yet was clean comfy and air conditioned (in the bedrooms). The best things were: The amazing roof terrace with views over the harbour. The breakfast, which was HUGE and the best we had during our 3 weeks travelling around Turkey. The location is brilliant in the middle of the old Kaleici (which is definitely where you want to be if you stay in Antalya). I liked it all

Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere even though it's situated slap-bang in the middle of everything - very short walk to all the historic sites, harbour, beach, restaurants/ bars and shops of the new town. Really friendly and helpful staff, great recommendations of what to do if you're not that clued up about Antalya, good places to eat, how to get about, etc. They also organised car hire for the next part of my trip, with the car being delivered to the hotel within an hour. Shower could have been a bit more powerful, but that's such a minor quibble for an otherwise great-value stay.

Wow! We were so pleasantly surprised. We had organized to be picked up at the airport and someone was there waiting for us. This villa is a gem. Location is absolutely perfect. The decor was unique. So "cozy". We got lucky and had the best room in the b&B. Big, comfortable with a huge terrace overlooking the water. But if you don't have the view.... Go on the roof...it's beautiful. Breakfast was included and served in the back garden. Delicious. Fruits, vegetables, bread, cheeses and jams with eggs to order served with coffee and tea. The hosts were also very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly :-)))) The only small negative... Would have been nice to have juice with breakfast, maybe a few plates and glasses in the room... And we asked for a double bed and ended up with two single. But overall we would go back tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
