- It has a wonderful location and close to everything. Basically at the center of the town and down the sunset point. - The decoration is very good and it is very well designed. The room is spacious and the bathroom is also large and well maintained. Although it is a real cave house, all the facilities are very good. - Every room has a balcony and you can enjoy the wonderful view over there. Of course, not in the morning becuase it is soaked in dew. - The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is also nice. I like this hotel very much.
- WIFI in the room is not stable. But in lobby or outside the room it is good. - The room can have better light.
Everything was excellent. Great views, close to town. People are very nice and helped you with anything you needed. 100% recomended!! If we could, we'd come back at the same hotel.
Everything was very dirty. Cleaning of room daily was poor. Hand soap contained stayed empty our entire stay. Garbage in bathroom was full of previous occupants sanitary pads when we checked in. Never replenished toilet paper. Had to ask each day for more. Never cleaned coffee mugs or replenished coffe supplies in room. Breakfast was poor and minimal. Breakfast room was dark and dirty. No restaurant or any amenities on site.
Picked from Goreme Bus stop upon arrival and dropped back upon departure. We're also dropped at Open Air Museum.
cave room too warm. Sofa very uncomfortable. Breakfast rather Spartan. Boring because same thing daily with little choice. White Bread, cheese, boiled eggs, some junk cereal, melon, butter, honey, dilute coffee and tea.
Location, Structural setting , room decor , staff attitude
Couldn't really fault the place. The staff were very helpful, giving advice on the best things to do & see. The room was spacious and clean with bath & shower and plenty of hot water.
Village cave couse was set in a wonderful location. Great views and easy walk down to Goreme or up to the scenic lookout over the town. Our host was very inviting and spent a lot of time with us sharing his local knowlesge with honest opinions of what to do in the area. Highly recommend.
Perfect location, cool room design, clean hotel, kettle and tea in room, very very friendly stuff.
Poor breakfast. We felt a lack of facilities in room as bad toiletries, no slippers, no water in room, it was cold in room in morning and evening but heaters didn't work.
We had to travel quite far to get to Cappadocia, so this hotel was just such an amazing treat in itself. When the owner Onur took us to our room, my husband and I said “Wow!” We got room number 3, and it had a little underground display of clay jugs protected with a round glass cover. It was like staying inside a museum. Onur wasn’t responsive at booking time when we had questions about airport transfer, but once we got there, he was helpful, friendly and pleasant to chat with. Cappadocia is an amazing place, and this hotel made our time there even more memorable.
Me and my boyfriend had a great time staying here. Nothing to complain about! The room and location was just fantastic! And the owner, Onur, was super nice and very very helpful! He help us arrange all of our tours and explained the area to us. Our stay is pretty much worry free :) And it's a family business so you can really feel the warm and lovely ambiance there. I'll definitely stay here again when i come back to cappadocia, no doubt. AND, this hotel have the best sunset view! You can enjoy it from in front of your room / balcony. You don't need to go anywhere else :)
We loved the incredible view and the location, and most of all the way Onur treated us! He recommended wonderful activities in a perfect English and always had a smile on his face. Just like us in this oniric environement..! Breakfasts in the little garden were lovely and delicious. All valleys can be reached in 5mn by walk, which gives you the possibility to stop by your cave at anytime and enjoy both the nature and the troglodyte luxury. INCREDIBLE
The water of the bathtub was not really hot...
The Staff! The Staff! The Staff! Onur and his family were fantastic hosts. I lost my passport while in Gerome and Onur let me take over his computer for an hour to print out some papers. He helped me contact the US Embassy. He called my airlines to help me arrange last minute travel, and he was also very kind and helpful the many times I came down to ask him questions (and it was a lot). I can't tell you how much his help meant in such a stressful time. On top of all that, the rooms were amazing. Large, clean, nice, and very comfortable. Great views from the hotels many terraces. And the hotel arranged our balloon flight and gave us itinerary and directions to seeing the sites on our own. Such a wonderful experience to stay there, and would definitely go back if I ever get the chance.
Family who runs are helpful and friendly. Spacious room. Excellent view. Great location short walk from main street.
Strategically located in the heart of Firstly Mr Halil (the ownder) and Onur (the son) are both wonderful people who operate the hotel and have 5-star hospitality- so that was nice especially for us who have just arrived from a 21-hour bus journey. Secondly, the hotel is no more than 5 minutes walking distance to the town centre (where you have the bus station, motor/bike/car rentals, pubs, bars & retaurants). The hotel is also a real cavehouse, unlike other hotels which are recently built and are not really made from the existing caves.
We stayed at the junior suite to enjoy its Jacuzzi bath but it was broken. We also think that it would be great if there is a potter service as I had to carry the luggages myself (mind you there are steps to climb to get to your room)
View is absolutely amazing!
Not clean enough, Poooooor breakfast and bad smell in the breakfast room. Owner needs to do something about it.
The room was very roomy, and clean towels everyday. Onur went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The location is good for everything in town. Family run and very friendly.
The amazing view and the staff.
The air in the room was smelling like mold.
The owner is one of the most friendly and helpful person we found in Turkey. The hotel is amazing, entirely caved inside an ancient fairy chimney. The rooms are fully equipped, with a very nice atmosphere. Value for money is very positive. If you want to stay in Goreme this is absolutely the right place!
The location is fantastic and to sleep in a cave is an adventure. The hotel is right in the mountain where people go to see the sunset.
My room shared the balcony with two other rooms. I don't think this is the case of all rooms. One night I had to ask the other guests to speak lower.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful at all times. The view from the rooms is amazing, especially early in the morning when the balloons are all up over the valley. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The Hotel was beautiful with lovely views and great location, but sure that that's not unque. What set it apart for us was the young manger, Onur. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. He gave us good advice about the hot air baloon ride and all his recommendations were very good.
It has a great view of the valley and is a close walk to the top of the valley where people go to view the sunset.
