Score from 361 reviews Very good
Both my father and I found the hotel very comfortable. It was value for money. Local to all the places that you needed to get to. The food was top rate as was the staff and the owners. I think we made friends with them and I would recommend family and friends to go there as well.
Location is great for food, train connection and st john basilica.
Shower not enclosed. No tea and coffee making. Air con not working for heat control and poor wifi in fifth floor room. Shower and bath gel not pleasant.
Location and proximity to selcuk train station.
No tv, no hair dryer, shower area not enclosed thus water splashes everywhere. Rooms not as nice as described. Wifi very bad on 5th floor. No water kettle for coffee or tea in room.
The location. The friendly staff. The cleanliness.
The lack of a luggage rack. The lack of table/bench/desk - the dressing table was too small for laptop, as well as personal effects.
Nothing, im really trying to find something good to say but nothing.
They dont have any reception service at night, we had to awake a stuff for ourwelcome. The room was not same wich we saw on booking com. There is only one pillow for two person and very dirty. No hot water No towel No wifi No any parking lot.
Comfortable stay for a budget price. Lovely staff, family run hotel. The room I stayed in was clean, seemed like itd be renovated and had views of the mountains and the town. Wifi was good in my room. The breakfast is great too. Staff were super helpful and welcoming. The hotel restaurant had Lonely Planet reviews. Staff helped with directions to Ephesus and the airport too. The train was about 50m from the hotel stops right at Izmir airport, which was perfect too.
Lift is small, but works fine.
Location is good, almost directly in the small market area of Selcuk. Dinner was excellent on outside patio, and price was reasonable.
Noisy area. Staff were unfriendly and seemed to resent requests for help with directions. Our room lacked toilet paper and soap. Manager's wife readily provided paper, but claimed that small shampoo bottle contained shower gel. Not! I would definitely not go back.
the owners here are super friendly, the rooms have wifi and are very modern (I believe recently renovated). the location can't be beat, its right next to the aqueducts and a 3min walk to the train station (this is typically where you come into town). i high recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Ephesus.
Jeff's wife was very nice!
1. I asked when they could arrange a free shuttle to Efes? Jeff: Do you need a taxi? I told him that according to web they will arrange a free shuttle service and it was the reason we booked this Hotel. Jeff: No! No more ,we don't provide such service ! 2. Why you didn't clean the room? Jeff: We clean the room every two days. I said normally hotel clean the room everyday. Jeff: We are abnormal!
The hospitality was very welcoming and the rooms basic but recently renovated so clean and comfortable for Turkish standards. We left early in the morning prior to breakfast and Geoff had made us breakfast to take. We were really grateful for that and the kindness was not expected
It was our first time on a Turkish lift so for Australians please not the doors do not go to the side they open as a door. Lift are small so I was eager to get out and them thought I was stuck.
We booked for one night and ended up staying for three nights. I think that says it all!
Very kind and helpfull staff. The cook prepaired very delicious and traditional meal.
We stayed in this lovely hotel for two days, and that was absolutely perfect, very helpful staff, nice owner and his family. They helped with excursions to Virgin Mary`s hous and ancient Ephesus. Hotel`s location is perfect, near the bus station, beautiful view on aqueduct with stork nests on the top-)
Centrally located, friendly staff.
The window curtain was too thin. No hangers in the room. The room wasn't cleaned once during our 3-night stay.
Location, very good, just few steps to Silcuk train station and surrounded by resto's. Walking distance to St.John.
WiFi at the room doesn't work, must went down to the lobby.
The extremely friendly and helpful owner Jeff and his wife, Filiz and parents ensured our four night stay was terrific. We had a recently refurbished room which had superb views of the stork's nests that we on top of the aqueducts ruins. The food was delicious too! The arranged tours from the hotel to Ephesus and Pamukkale were good value with informative guides. Thoroughly recommend the hotel for the location, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food.
Super friendly staff and excellent location! Restaurant opposite the hotel is also really good! I would love to return to see how the refurbished areas look as they were busy with that when we were there! Owner was very friendly and arranged tours to Ephesus for us! Had a great time staying here!
Located in the heart of the pedestrian walkway close to good restaurants in Selcuk Great views of aquaduct and storks
Room was not serviced Breakfast was not buffet as advertised on hotel's pamphlet and served in an area that resembled a store room rather than a breakfast room Major renovations taking place on most of the floors which we were not for-warned of Big difference between rate offered by booking.com and hotel's room rate for walk-in clients.
disobliging crews. light bulb and shower tap has broken. awful bath facilities. poor bed. miserly breakfast. many things were awful, especially there were nobody apologize for their mistake.
great location, the vintage fixtures in the older room, good value, good restaurant, kind staff
prefer earlier breakfast with more choice of food, mattress was thin
location is as promised, city center.
The "standard" rooms are in poor repair--I replaced my own lightbulbs. We asked, and proprietor would not say what an upgrade costs until we hiked up to see it. The hotel parking is, in fact a vacant lot that anyone can park in--we did OK because it was low season. There is an elevator--beware, however, as the door between you and the shaft is stuck open
