The room and service. Why did this hotel advertise its price in Euros and then charge us in Turkish Lira? The bill should be paid in the currency advertised. It made no sense to charge us in Euros then convert the Euros to Turkish Lira at the hotel's exchange rate, which is then converted into US $ by my bank. The hotel is making a profit on the exchange rate of converting Euros to Lira, which is not right. |

Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic shower! Tea and coffee making facilities. Not ideally placed for main sites. Fine if you like walking uphill. |

Very large room (even for a suite), room design, staff friendliness, attention to detail, best showers I've ever seen, room media equipment (iPod dock, tv, etc.). It really felt very comfy. Only breakfast could improve a little bit, but it was still good. On the other hand, the fact that it could be served in your room free of charge is unheard of in any luxury hotel. |

Hotel staff so friendly and helpful , the design of the room, and the coffee in the room. The location, you need too walk down the hill to get to the tram. and for coming back I need to take taxi to avoid walking up the hill specially if you have children, I recommend this hotel for couple with out children. |

Great staff. Really mind blowing views. And the best is the surrounding neighborhood Cihangir (pronounced yijanguir in spanish). Keep the good work!. The climb from the tram stop to the hotel is breathtaking, literally. But not much to do about it i guess. |

I loved the design and style of this hotel. The concierge that welcomed me on my arrival was wonderful! First he offered me a glass of pomogrenade juice when he noticed me sweating and panting after climbing up the slope to reach the hotel. Then he inquired about my length of stay and upon discovery that it was my first time in Istanbul, he helped me set up my tours for the next two days. The only thing I did not like was the slope that I had to climb up to reach the hotel... but I think you can avoid it if you take another way. |

Good Hotel staff very nice. Great Hotel .but they rip you off with money exchange whitout letting you know what they are charging. i was given the rate in Euro when it camne to pay the bill ,they said they will only charge in turkish Lira which they do the calucualtion at their own rate and you end up paying an extra $150.00 this is a rip off. other than that issue i enjoyed my stay. |

the service was excellent, the view to the city was super. location was great, easy to reach Taksim square with lots of restaurants and bars, tram station just 2 min by walk from hotel. free Internet. I would stay there again. simple things in the room like water etc were just too expensive. otherwise, no complaints. |

The Welcome Desk staff, and in fact all the staff, were wonderful and always went out of their way to help - over and above the call of duty. And, of course, the size of room, quality, luxury, fittings and facilities (particularly that 6 head power shower and instant hot water) are the best, bar none, that I have encountered. Flat screen TV, ipod deck / speaker, fridge, micro wave etc. One of its strong points (which is also its weak point!!) is its location - 10 mins walk to Taksim Square, 5 minutes down to the tram stop for easy cheap access to Sultanhamet and all the tourist sites - but that hilll which is great to go down for the tram in the morning is a killer to get back up again after a hard day's site seeing! |
