Staff name Mehmet Akkoyun from guest rrlation was very helpful. The location
i had an issue with the AC. however, as discussed with the staff, they informed me that the building is historical therefore they cant do anything to improve the AC.
i hop next timt to guet room sea view only
Very close to the most relevant attractions in Istanbul Quite and calm
Very slow internet connections Staff not very helpful & supportive of client needs
I have booked for two nights in the hotel and the room given was small but then I met Mr. Mehmet Akkoyun , from the Guest Relation ,who was very helpful and professional and so polite and customer-focused and helped in enjoying and stay more 2 nights in this hotel. He helped in changing to better room
room was small and in the dark place but then changed
Location location location Appearance of hotel public areas Spacious rooms
Afternoon sewer smell from bathroom drain...both rooms we stayed in Front desk staff not sufficiently bilingual
Location and hotel are great. Relations officer was so helpful and nice.
-Not all staff can speak English. - Way to hotel was close so I had to carry my luggages about 300m !! - room service was not responding quickly and sometimes just forget. - receptionists are not very friendly.
Location, building, history, view from the restaurant.
Location The building itself looks nice
The room was poor, dirty, extremely warm and noisy (close to the reception where the staff was talking loud all night), almost did not sleep. Breakfast is awful. This is a 3 star hotel, don't expect more, even if the price is tempting.
Hotel is situated very well for easy access to all sites and transport. Very appealing building.
Rooms are not airconditioned, only heated, and many have windows that only open into the main atrium above reception, resulting in no sleep. No noticeble soundproofing. During a 6 night stay, I had to clear and clean the breakfast table twice, due to no service. Toiletries were only changed once, one day the bed was not made up, the bedcover, towels and tables cloths had holes in them. A hotel which regularly host many affordable bus tours, but has not trained its staff in how to manage large numbers of guests.
liked the room and the lobby and all staff was professional
very noisy at night, our room was on the 2nd fl. all rooms windows open to the hotel lobby and we did not need to have A/C on, you can hear every thing going on at the lobby
Decor of lobby and live music
Room smelled a bit musty
The location is excellent, everything is walking distance. They switch my room when requested. My second room was on fourth floor which was non smoking. The room was very quiet.
The breakfast tables were not very clean, the table clothes had stains. My first room was on the first floor which was a smoking floor and extremely noisy. The jacuzzi tun didn't work. The mini bar was not complimentary. Rooftop bar was very expensive especially for. The area and the view was not the best.
Room too small
Everything was perfect
I really can not comprehend how that hotel got the five stars. I would never recommend it to anyone.
Bad smile Very noise No air conditioning
It’s location in the heart of the old city and its history, I mean it is an old hotel but very well renovated.
While you are in your very room, you can hear some noises come from the next room, especially the noise of having a douche. The hotel did not offer a free of charge tea or a coffee in the room. The bed is not very comfortable.
Every things are good. Clean. Calm
Respect, Comfortable, good reception people, security and super breakfast.
There is no complimentary water or coffee and tea facilities in the roon
I was charged twice by the hotel on the bank account details provided to booking.com
The worst five stars hotel I've ever stayed in
The hotel was extravagant looking, but the dining etc was pretty basic.
We had trouble with excessive noise from the kitchen area above our room - no sleep for two nights, and no assistance could be negotiated...no room change, no option but to put up with it or lose our money. overnight staff didn't even note it so when we went to pay they had no idea we were dissatisfied (and obviously had been for two days and through numerous phone calls and visits to reception for two nights). Very poor at dealing with complaints.
Be careful. They turn off a/c from 1st sept. "If you feel hot open the window" manager told us
