It is a good place to stay, though the bathroom didn't smell very good. The people that work there are very friendly. The room is clean and nice.

It might be quite hard to find the hotel. The bathroom didn't smell very good.

Nothing special about the hotel. It was OK

The location was quite odd, difficult to climb up and nct so near the town except blue mosque. Air condition was not working properly and the toilet door was broken.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Excellent location, geographically but deserted at night. Large very clean room. Interesting attempt at furnishing, making most of space. Free Wi-Fi, though only intermittant service in room.

Needs a lot of minor maintenance. Stayed in penthouse but terrace and kitchen were being remodeled and were not available (big disappointment from advertisement). No in-room privacy since there are no doors of any kind for the bathroom.

The staff were helpful & friendly. The breakfast was really good. The rooms spacious & well decorated.

The bathroom sink, impossible to lean over it. The rest of the bathroom great. We booked the penthouse which stated it had access to a roof terrace, but it dosnt exist.

This hotel is a little jewel, hidden in a quiet street. The staff are all extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful. The location is unbeatable...just minutes from all the important sites in the old city. It's so close to everything, you can come back for midday breaks if you have kids. The morning breakfast will be your best meal of the day. They aslo diligently arranged for the airport transfers. I'd highly recommend this hotel. The value for your money is enormous.

Honestly, my family and I had a fabulous time in Istanbul, and this hotel had a lot to do with it.

The location is fantastic, the staff were always there to help and give advise. The breakfast was excellent plenty of everything and a variety for everyone. Within walking distance of all the main attractions and 5 minutes from Bus Tram and Train.

Due to the open planning of the hotel it can get a little loud at times.

Great clean hotel, friendly helpful staff! Good internet, good breakfast, close to main monuments.

No door in the wasroom for penthouse room so you can see inside it from the bed. (no privacy) I would probably just add a shaded glass sliding door ;)

Location very central for sightseeing. Easy walk both uphill to Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque etc as well as downhill to tram and ferry. Good cheap restaurants down the hill. Enjoyed the friendly, helful staff. Breakfast in reception excellent. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Large bathroom

I liked the location and the room was big.

I did not like that nobody informed me the terrace was not available anymore. The staff was not really friendly and not speaking good English. we tried to contact the hotel privately before arriving for a transfer to the airport and we did not receive any reply.

Not bad location. It's near with sights, but it's hard to find. New rooms, good TV with great number of TV channels

Located in a small street. It's frightful. Very small hotel. Terrace was closed. It wasn't mentioned on web site. In our room there wasn't any windows(like basement). WI fi doesn't work properly. Soundproofing is awful and terrible. You can sleep in this hotel only with earplugs. As I understand in Turkey always description about hotel on web site doesn't correspond to real conditions. Be ready for it. Terrible breakfast. No meat at all.

Facilities are new, clean and spacious. Location can be tricky for taxi drivers, but is excellente for walking tours, very close to top attractions.

The building has a poor acoustic. Rooms in the basement or reception floor can be very noisy (noise from breakfast). If you are a light sleeper, ask for 3rd floor rooms.

Good Location, close to many major sights. Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Lovely Shower.

Noise- Hotel very loud in the morning , it is very difficult to sleep undistrubed past 6:30 am as noise from outside the room within the hotel carried through out the building. Wifi- not working for us in Topfloor bedroom Upgrade- Was a pleasant thought but in reality we were put in an attic room with slopping ceiling were we were unable to stand upright in part of the room. The ensuite was also contained within the bedroom without a door (Behind two frosted glass panels) so no privacy in the bathroom. We may in hindsight have been better off in the windowless basement room I had booked. Roof terace - One of the reasons we chose the hotel is no longer open or available to guests. Breakfast - Nice cold selection of breads,Fruit and yoghurt. However limited hot breakfast - Only cheese pancake ( Gozleme) which was tasty when warm and available but left to go cold and hard on the buffet table (not kept warmed) and not replaced frequently enough. Staff - All very nice, helpful and pleasant however local knowledge and level of English varied greatly at reception. Water- We returned to the room one night about midnight and the water was switched off in our room,The staff however promtly switched it back on once we rang reception.

Value for money. Friendly staff who spoke English and extremely helpful.

The location is close to the city attractions; however, it is deep in small street...quite a scary walk at night.

Room has nice colours. Furniture and bathroom are new. Big TV on the wall.

Terrace is closed. You have to get a breakfast near reception with a very limited number of tables (we had to wait). Staff is not fast to clean up the tables. Breakfast for Turkey is very poor. NO MEAT at all. Only instant coffee, that is unacceptable. Walls are not just thin. We came there lately to sleep and to move further, there is no way. At 6 a.m. they started to prepare for breakfast. Due to acoustics it sounded like everything is in your room. We got up immediately and could not fall asleep again. When people started to get breakfast, all banging spoons, forks and knives were in our room. Air in room has too much of liquid and very bad.

This is a great hotel in a fab location in the heart of the old town of Istanbul! We walked everywhere from the hotel after getting very useful help and information off the manager. The room we had was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breaky was great!

Being tiled floors in the hallways, sometimes it could be a little noisy at night. This wasn't a major issue though.

Hotel was in a very good location. Managed to walk almost everywhere. Very clean n new. Beautiful decor and Extremely comfortable bed. Large room with good facilities. Staff we're very polite n helpful. Would definitely love to go back. Very nice view from top but was not in use at the time. Tea,coffee and cold drink available anytime which was really nice. It was an excellent place. Excellent choice at breakfast time, a cold buffet though.

Although there wasn't anything in particular just thought bathroom could have a bit more storage space as it was quite large. Towel rack on top of toilet was not in an ideal place. Very fancy sink but not very practical. Tap loose n first time we tried to use the plumbing underneath was loose so water everywhere. They tell you to lock the door from inside at nighttime for safety n security, whilst we were in our room one evening, another guest managed to open our door with their door card! There was a short power cut prior to this. On our last day was a little busy at breakfast time no space so retuned to room for a while, by which time Not too much left and as it was a small hotel I guess they don't refill at the end. Not a major problem.
