Score from 530 reviews Very good
Very good area and location, Nice personell, very good breakfast.
The air condition in our room did not work and we had to have the window open the first day - very noisy. The second day we talked to them again, a technician came up and turned it on easily. Seemed like the staff didn't understand the problem but it was an easy fix after explaining three times..
Room furnishing corresponds to and breakfast even exeeds expectations
The only window in a small dark lightwell, therefor the price of eur 400 for 3 nights not acceptable.
Location is great and the hotel room is modern and clean. The front desk exchange dollar and euro at bank rates without any commission
We got a room facing the front of the hotel (we had requested a quite room while booking) and it was pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday night. The room had ear plugs kept next to the bed but they it wasn't particularly of a good quality so I we used the ones I had taken.
The staff doesn't speak english. It was difficult to communicate. And for a 4 star Hotel, is pretty bad.
great location: 1 minute from the Istiklal street and 3 minutes from the subway (Sishane), 10-15 minutes from Taksim sq, excellent free WiFi, a great view from the window, modern facilities, a taxi stop next door
breakfast was too Turkish although it had lots of choices; bad coffee, noisy neighbors
I like the location only
Staff are not helpful at all No one can speak English Taxi didn't know the hotel Very narrow room I will not come to this hotel again
The Peak Hotel is modern, conveniently located, comfortable, the people who work there very pleasant and helpful and accomodating, nice room, nice bathroom and nice shower, a wonderful buffet breakfast and good restaurant attached, all in all a very pleasant experience!
There was no chest of drawers for one's clothes and we had to use what little shelving available along with our suitcases for our clothes.
I always travel to Istanbul , I tried many hotels , it's one of the best . It's been 2 years I stay in the peak hotel & I don't change , I feel @ home.
Shower is narrow
The location of the hotel is good. Just next to the main pedestrian street and bar area. So convenient for people to stay and shopping. the room design is good. mordern and beautiful. staff is friendly.
the hotel do not have service to help guest mail the postcard. even we pay for it.
Breakfast had big variety but not that good quality. The room was clean and had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel (even your own iron and ironing board). The location was excellent!
We had a room with a great view (there are only two like this) but first I had to make a fuss about it because I had requested for that specific room 6 months in advance (when I made the reservation and prepaid the room). Stuff did not speak good english and one of the receptionists was grumpy all of the time.
Location Modern facilities
Very small room Terrible view of dilapidated bldg next door Very uncomfortable bed resulting in back pain Understaffed and poor customer service Housekeeping service poor. Did not replace items daily
Location Decor Food for breakfast
Better wifi We could here the people in the next room
location free transfer to the airport
We are not an exigent couple but this hotel disappointed us in many aspects: a) some of the staff were very friendly, but many were very impolite and rude. Many did not speak good (basic) English. b) The carpet in some areas looked disgusting and unhygienic. c) The hotel's design pretends to be ultra modern but it's not practical at all: i.e towel-hangers and other basic accessories are missing. d) The building next to it is 4 meters away and has large windows: people there can see completely what happens inside the hotel's rooms. We even saw people in one of the offices in front of us observing us while they were drinking a coffee... e) Terrible juices at the breakfast
Location fine, rooms OK
Ignorant staff, dark and unfriendly reception area, hot tiny elevators
friendly staff, excellent location
Very noisy and although I reserved two similar rooms , the two rooms were different , one had a normal bathroom , the other room had the sink beside the bed. one room window was beside the AC compressors of another building which was very nosiy all night. Wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking a a calm and quite hotel
Very clean, good location, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Also they took me back to the airport for free.
Overnight there was some noise in the corridor, caused by others clients. Most of the hotel's employee doesn't speak english.
Close to things
Too noisy Air conditioner gave me a cold
- Great hotel, beautiful, clean, good location - look like a 5 star hotel -
everything was good
resturant , breakfast
size of room
The hotel is modern, great wi-fi, nice and friendly stuff. Very varied and rich breakfast, delicious. Location is just perfect, it's just couple of blocks away of the high street where the old tram can take you to the Taksim square, or where you can walk, just 10-15min at the same time very close to the tube station Sishane and in this location what was perfect for us, as we came by car, the hotel is just 50m away from large few levels underground parking. To leave your car there cost only 20TYL per 24h. Would highly recommend.
Location is close to bars and restaurants and main shopping street. Breakfast was good. Shower was excellent as were the room facilities
Room a little small
The location of the hotel is perfect, 2 mins walk to Istiklal Avenue. There is a taxi office in front the hotel. There is a pharmacy and a small grocery shop. Most of the staff were okay. The housekeeping staff and the bellboy were good as well.
One of the staff member was rude actually, I think he does not like ARABS. The room was hot a little bit. We did not like the breakfast. I would not say it was bad, but the choices were limited.
