We were delighted to meet a genuine Safranbolu family, and to enjoy our time in the wonderfully unchanged environment.

The owner of this hostel and all the services he provided were very good and they were great assets to my trip in turkey.

The price is quite cheap comparing to other places in Safranbolu. They also have dorm room, but somehow it's not shown on this website. The owner is really friendly. He offered to take me to Amasra in his taxi (because his family is going, too) with a very reasonable price.

The room is not so well-maintained. There were cracks on the floor. And I can hear the water from upstair and people talking in the next room.

Great location, verb helpful staff good value for location. Clean and tidy.

The environment is very nice. Hostel service is terrific! Price is really reasonable!!

- The staff, Cengiz, is so helpful to pick us at otogar and drive us there at night time. Thanks a lot about that. - He also offer us to stay in room until time to bus (11.00pm) - Rooms and houses are older than I can imagine.

staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the staff drove us around and exchange money with us at very reasonalbe rate.

the water is not warm enough for taking bath in November, although it might not be a problem in hot season.

I really lıked the owner and hıs mom. He was fantastıc..made every effort to help us and welcome us to Safranbolu! The room was spotless and beds were very comfy. We had to wake up really early to catch our bus to Istanbul..we would have mıssed breakfast but they made ıt extra early for us so that we would not leave wıth empty stomachs.

The manager/owner Genkas was amazing sorting out travel details and driving me and others guests to the bus station and local sights. His mother even made me dinner on my last night.

When I arrived the room I booked wasn't available (private ensuite), instead I was given a dorm room (four beds in the room but I would stay there alone) with a shared bathroom. When I mentioned this to the owner he agreed to reduce the price of my stay by almost 1/2 My room needed some upgrades (the wall paper was in very poor condition) and the room only had 1 electrical outlet so I had to choose between recharging batteries and using the electric heater.

The hosts are very friendly, they treat you like you are the family members, not guests. Trust me, their hospitality is out of your expectation. And you would like to give them big hugs all the time.

The room is a little small, but it's because you stay in a World Heritage Room. I think it worth.

Location is very good everything is close good one owner is very cooperative and hostel is in main old town

I feel satisfied that staying here at such a cheap price. Besides, it also provides the free shuttle service from the bus office. The host and his family are nice and friendly. Though the equipment in the room is very simple, the service and the view are also recommended. I’ll stay here again if I visit Safranbolu next time.

The member of house family was so kind. and the location is good for traveling

I can hear the sound down and up stairs. I can even see the down stair buffet place through the hole on my room's floor... and the Camii is just next to thehouse so you have to wake up early in the morning.

I really liked the place where it is situated, less than 4 minutes to the city center by foot, I liked the staff which is a nice warm family, We were playing Tavla at the pansion's garden at midnight and it was fantastic. j'ai bien aimé l'emplacement et l'endrtoit, mois de 4 minutes du centre ville, j'ai bien aimé aussi le staff qui se traduit en une simple famille chaleureuse, le staff est toujours prêt pour tout sorte de services alors n'hésitez pas. لقد أعجبني كثيرا هذا الفندق، أحببت المكان امتواجد فيه، إذ أنه يبعد مدة أقل من 4 دقائق عو وسط المدينة والطاقم المتمثل في عائلة عادية وحميمة لا ببخل في المساعدة مهما كان الأمر إنه لمكان رائع لقضاء يوم أو يومين على الأكثر

What I didn't like abour this pansion is the fact the it is too much expansive consodering the services it provides, I mean the beakfast is so poor, and I didn't like the fact that the rooms are not air conditioned , and the toilets are closed they don't haves lighhr neither aeration . لم يعجبني طعام فطور الصباحة، فقير جدا من كل المغذيات لم بكن هناك حتى عصير ، ولم يعجبني أن الغرف ليست مكيفة، وخاصة الالمراحيض التي تلزمها بعض التهوية

Family running pension. Best location. Offer useful information. U would feel like your second home. I felt sorry to leave. Anne, Baba,and Gengyes. I hope to come back later.

The pension provides us with clean room, delicious breakfast and good wi-fi at better price! The hotel owner was very kind and tried for us to enjoy everything of Safranbolu. The hotel had comfortable atmosphere. We were impressed by the owner cause one of us had lost her bag at Bus terminal, but She could find it thanks to owner. I recommend this hotel to you!

Owners were wonderful. Helpful and friendly, arranged tours and hotels for my next stops, and made great recommendations. Great for budget travelers, and nice location.
