This oceanfront resort is in Scarborough, Tobago, just 5 miles from the center of the city.

This boutique hotel, overlooking Bacolet Bay, is just beneath the hill of Fort King George. It offers ocean views, a private beach and a spa.
Score from 46 reviews Very good
Right on a private beach on Bacolet Bay, this boutique hotel features an infinity pool and rooms with views of the Caribbean Sea. Bacolet Beach Club is a 15 minute drive from Tobago Airport.
Score from 37 reviews Good
Including a private beach area, hot tub and 3 swimming pools with terrace, the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort is set on the shores of Little Rockly Bay and a 10-minute drive from Scarborough...
Score from 100 reviews Good
Convenience of the spot, next to beaches, food areas and night life. It is Literally 5 mins walking from the airport. Staff were attentive and responsive to the needs
No wireless internet in the rooms only in the lobby area. Room service - limited items that can be ordered with limited time.
Location and beach facility
Bathroom needs upgrading
private beach close to hub of activities, restaurants, airport etc daily cleaning
bath extremely small no water in room upon arrival no ceiling fan no bed side mats no dim night light sea view overlooking busy/noisy Store Bay beach curtains old/dirty/not properly sewn only one small towel rack for 2 people
Service was poor and twice the price of most of the rest of the Caribbean. Tobago in general is way behind other islands, customer service does not exist !!
Location great, close to airport, private beach & swimming pool, secure facility, great food, family oriented, friendly staff. Also, there are groceries, pharmacy & other great local eating options on the strip where hotel is located.
On the beach, close to airport, things to do nearby.
Paying for Internet, some foods ran out at breakfast times when busy.
The location was very good being very close to the airport yet not being disturbed by overhead airplanes. The staff team were also very helpful, polite and friendly. I was able to use the facilities and have a shower in the spa after i checked out which i appreciated greatly.
The AC was very noisy so we had to switch it off to sleep which resulted in disturbed sleep as the room was very hot. In addition, though there were warning signs, the tiled floors were very slippery when wet... which was often. given that it is a seaside hotel.
The Location of the hotel is perfect, the staff were accomodating, the food were good, the pool, the gardens and the private beach were welcoming.
There has to be improvement in the daily cleaning of the rooms, especially with the towels, and bed linens.
More towels in the bathroom would be appreciated. A wider variety and less costly food for dinner
From the attendant at the entrance gate to the chef preparing our eggs at breakfast, my husband and I were quite pleased with the friendliness, helpfulness and warmth of each staff member with whom we came in contact at the hotel. May I add that all meals were rather delicious too. Our surroundings/room were clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Loved the fact that the room faced the ocean, with a balcony to sit out and enjoy the wonderful view with a puff and hot coffee :) No worries if you don't have a car, because the hotel has its' own private beach and pool and Store Bay is right next door. The airport, variety shops, eating places, pharmacy etc. are within short walking distances as well. I must say that we both enjoyed our stay at Coco Reef and look forward to more vacations there in the future.
The only comment we would make is that there is need for some maintenance work to the wooden architecture around.
Staff was well dressed and uniformed which lent to their professional service. The beach front and lagoon area is exceptional, actually a spectacular feature. Perfect for the little ones travelling with us. Hotel is very well appointed and artwork also a great help. Breakfast was phenomenal! choices were abundant and food tasted great.
Did not like the fact that there was a dress code for dinner at the restaurant. Two requests had to be made to house keeping to refresh towels in the room.
Staff was great!
$190 for internet for two days is just a cheap tactic to get cash. The Manager on staff at check should not have his job, he knows nothing about customer service!
Breakfast. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were spacious.
I think the lift at the entrance to the hotel should be automatic, if not, that should be operated by a man. Having a woman come out to lift it takes away a little professionalism from the hotel's image.
The service was excellent
The place was beautiful, my kids enjoy their selves. Big beds, and a wonderful staff with some few exceptions. Our stay there good better than places we had stayed before.
The food wasn't as I expected a tittle bit disappointed. We had booked two rooms which we didnt need so they took back one, an we still had to pay for both rooms. The beach is really nice until u go in the water it had a lot of moss, the kids didnt like it.
The location, the beach, the beach staff were excellent and pleasant
The beds, the shower enclosement. Needs upgrading!!
