Sketchy area, most guests rent by the hour, dirty sheets, why is this place even on booking?
Very awful experience to stay a hotel like this! This is not a hotel, it is a ruin! The hotel is located ina slum. Room is awfully dirty and with smail, no blanket, no hot water, even no water, wifi basicly useless, cockroach running in the room, dirty shower place. Booking. Com didnt do their job and shamefully charge cancellation fee. Dont trust Booking. Com anymore.
Nothing. It was awful.
The room was terrible. The bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain had fungus on it and the tile floor had dirty water accumulating on it. Overall it was gross. Thank God I only spent 2 nights there.
Staffs were helpful.
Found 2 dead roaches in room when I checked in, then found another one almost dead after spent a night beside a bed. very horrible. Location is also not good. Bed linen is not clean, it looks very old.
the staff was very good
hot shower was not ,I got a dirty bathroom
Not a safe location.
good for a single male , wifi was good
Workers are fantastic and available for any assistance
Cramp space, poor beding and wash room facility.
The hôtel is in downtown.
we hate prostitutes in corridor, Dukes hôtel is noisy, stinking. Employees were very impolite. Never again.
I felt like I was in a hoe house hearing people all hours of the night . Early morning the workers slamming doors and speaking loudly . The sheets on the bed had holes the bathroom seat was sliding off and the bed was noisy
I like every things
wi-fi and central location
guesthouse getting old, no cleanliness, poor help from the owners, no help from employee.
Decent wi-fi and air-conditioning.
This is the most scary place I have ever stayed in. Avoid this place if you are a female traveler. Exercise great caution even if traveling with friends. The receptionist asked for sex within minutes of checking in. Since it was past midnight and most of the city seemed to be asleep and the cab had left, I refused as politely as I was able and locked myself into my windowless room. Most rooms on the floor I was staying on did not have windows. I heard people coming and going and some very loud sex through the next day. Nobody seemed to be staying. There were two floors that I saw and I was the only person on the floor that I was staying on. I know because the rooms were always open. The floors are filthy. I counted four different kinds of bugs including cockroaches. The bathrooms don't drain properly. Water stagnated on the floor of the shower in the room I was given and the paint began to peel off and stick to my slippers. They gave me another room that was larger and had windows after I complained. I left as soon as I was able. Please know that there are plenty of cleaner and safe places to stay in Trinidad for the same amount per night.
