Quality of room was poor.
Very near of the airport, a good beach, shops and restaurants. Many cable TV channels available
The wifi didn't work in my bedroom, I had to go outside, near the swimming pool, to use it. The mattress
Polite and friendly manager (rare on Tobago). Lovely garden. Close to the action but still in a calm area: Walking distance to the Airport, beaches, shops, restaurants, banks etc.
The Place is old and run down. The pool is and looks dirty. My son swallowed some water and got sick for two Days. The rooms are overpriced and the breakfast aswell. The restaurant/bar was closed most of the time so you better stock up with beers etc in the fridge.
The manager wasn't very friendly when we requested clean towels to replace the 3 we given for 3 individuals. No extra ones were offered. The towels were supposed to be white, not gray. The bathroom was in poor condition and the shower leaked water on to the floor. The tub was coated with lime deposits under the faucet down to the drain. The bed linens looked as if they had been used for the last 10 years. I would advise against staying at this hotel.
I liked the staff, they were very helpful and pleasant.
I didn't like the pool,it was very dirty and in desperate need of a good cleaning.
It was not easy to find. It is tucked away from the main road. The sign for it is across the street from the main side road.
This hotel offered value for money, nice helpful staff and big tv in room
No wifi facilities
Close to airport and town
The staff, in particlular Michael were very accommodating and pleasant. The location is also ideal, close to the airport and Store Bay beach.
In general everything was old and outdated. There is a need to upgrade the surroundings, appliances etc and renovate the rooms etc.
Pool looked nice, but closed at 6pm and also closed for cleaning or chemical adding one day I was there. Birds in the mornings are plentiful... Lovely melodies and great to watch over breakfast. Airport is less than a 10 minute walk away. Several restaurants and amenities nearby.
The rooms at the back have no windows except wooden shutters that let mosquitoes in, so a bit cave-like. Ask for rooms in the front courtyard for windows. Hotel is a bit dated and overpriced for what it is.
Staff made our stay comfortable, on site dining and directions to different locations.
They could utilize more maps and brochures.
Location Staff, except owner
Dirty Poor wifi outdated Not enough crockery room not cleaned daily had to pay to get the room i booked pool cloudy
The owner was very pleasant and friendly. The food at the restaurant was good and affordable. Food made on request, so there is a little wait to get it fresh. Air condition was good. Property under new management and there were men around doing repairs. Maybe it will be better after this transition, because the layout of the property is attractive.
We randomly picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and we needed a place to stay for one day (thank God), because the rooms was horrible, dead bugs on the floor. We had two rooms and in one of the rooms the towels were gray in color, not white anymore, they should be used for cleaning rags. We had to use a shut off valve under the sink to get water in the bathroom sink. The beds were uncomfortable and did not look clean. We spread our beach towels to over the sheets.
Calm and quiet area. Nice staff. Good value as hotel is cheap comparing to others that has pool. Walking distance to beaches and city center with restaurants and night life.
Bottom of the swimming pool need to be repainted and pool need to be cleaned. Rooms need an upgrade regarding interior and inventory. Everything looks and feels 30-40 years old. Beds are old and uncomfortable. I dont understand the reason of turning on bar music at 6AM every morning -_-
Nice little village where everyone is friendly. Walk distance from 3 beaches and restaurent.Nice hotel.
The pool need to be refresh with paint.
Good location. Relatively cheap.
Old building. Very small room. Very old furniture. Moldy and very limited in cooking utensils. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Single men can survive. Ladies will hate it!
The location was great, very close to the "action" in crown point, but just far away for the night time noises not to be disturbing. The personnel was very helpful and welcoming. In the evening lots of bats and loads of pretty birds just outside the room in the morning.
The shower did not work and I never knew if the bar/restaurant was open or not. It was a little close to the airport so you hear the planes taking off and landing quite often.
the place was an absolute 'horror' without any excuses. The owner should be ashame! What a disgrace to otherwise beautiful Tobago.
Excellent price wise for what you got and indeed a close walk to beach casino and places to grab food area safe if not a bit country with chickens afoot
the pool is a reasonable good size however it is urgent need of a cleaning the service of the staff is nice and very welcoming... its is like a family oriented place
Each room should have provided stuff for washing dishes also to light the stove. the rooms to the back should also have access to the wifi.
It's within walking distance from both the airport and the two most popular beaches in Tobago.
Kitchen and bathroom need updating generally. The kitchenette needs a microwave.
Basic facilities, bed, tv, stove, fridge, sink, bathroom, towel and housekeeping service, a/c, swimming pool, onsite restaurant and good proximity to everything essential, friendly, unobtrusive staff.
bare basics provided, kitchenette: not all items listed were there, no matches, or cleaning materials for stove/sink, stove was a bit iffy, oven mad scary sounds but never worked (no extinguisher in room), no microwave or toaster oven which in fact may have been more useful to me than ancient stove and 2 questionable pots. The room and hotel are aging but fairly comfortable if you do not expect luxury, small crt tv with quaint satellite hookup, a/c with no adjustment only on or off switch, the pool was ok just a bit exposed to some natural elements hence insects grass, and a few feathers, no shade for lounging unless you had a room facing pool, and closing at 6pm. Dirt road to compound. Like I said basic, you could probably do more or less better for similar or better price in area, but the combination of quiet atmosphere or privacy, or friendly staff may be lacking.
The location was probably the only good about this hotel, and maybe the cost (even though there are better places around for much cheaper)
The pool had bugs in it. Room had no utensils. bed was not so comfortable.
Tracy was very polite, courteous, friendly accommodating and went above and beyond! Definitely made my stay in Tobago better
Location is great
I spend two night at this place and it was horrible. Roaches running around, the pool was very dirty, the mattress was so thin u can feel the wood. The towels n sheet had a very old smell. I'll never spend $ on this place again :(
