This boutique hotel, overlooking Bacolet Bay, lies just beneath the hill of Fort King George. It offers ocean views, a private beach and a spa. The air-conditioned rooms at Half Moon Blue are spacious, with colonial style high-ceilings. They include large beds with a plasma TV, DVD player and a balcony with seating area. Some rooms include views of the hotel’s private bay. The Half Moon Blue offers water sports, and there is a diving station and tennis court a few minutes’ walk away. There is free Wi-Fi and a large, outdoor pool. The hotel’s Havana Bar and Restaurant serves local and international cuisine, with seafood platters and home-made breads. The bar/reception was very quirky. The shared facilities with sister Hotel were good. Pool was nice and staff were friendly. Room could have been cleaner. The beautiful reception/bar area was not serving any drinks which is a shame as it would have been lovely to chill there. Internet reception hit and miss. Steps to beach bar very steep.

Good position, convenient for Scarborough. Lovely pool and good beach & swimming. We had excellent room with view of pool & sea. Quite good food in restaurant - &Quot;Musak" in restaurant, too loud, 'mindless' racket. Staff made mistake in bill, & did not correct it when they said they would. Result: stress trying to sort this out before driving to Airport for check-in!

A hotel with all services and confort but not pretentious. Almost a home away from home. A nice swimming pool that was almost always left to ourselves. A tummy filling hearty buffet breakfast every morning. Cool private beach. Beds with mosquito nets. The room we had for the first few days had the toilet and shower in separate rooms but sharing the same sliding door. So you either used the toilet or used the shower. This door was thin like a shower panel. Did not provide much privacy.

The ambiance; the view was gorgeous, breakfast was great and varied. Staff was attentive and friendly. Flies at the breakfast area; nice beach but strong currents.

Meals were good that you paid for. Friendly staff, nice rooms. A little pricey but ok. Breakfast was poor as it was included (B&B) - little selection and limited food. Beach was tiny. No coffee or tea in the room.
