WiFi is important
The staff was very helpful. One of the most comfortable beds I have experienced in a hotel.
Paid wifi it should be free dirty pool still fixing elevator using service elevator not cool
Bar staff mark was great room always kept clean food was great very pricey a bit too much actually
The paid wi fi was a very poor deal as it's complimentary in most chains even budget chains. Breakfast was disappointing, some items cold in the hot breakfast.
Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness and comfort levels
My only complaint was that the pool terrace was not staffed sufficiently. There were many guests using the pool during our stay and the under-staffing resulted in guests experiencing long waits for food and drinks and the terrace not being cleared of refuse and used wares quickly. Also one of the steps into the pool was broken which could be a considerable health and safety risk.
Both Trinidadians, after our wedding my husband and I spent a couple of days at Hilton Trinidad before proceeding on our honeymoon abroad. When we arrived we got a sweet surprise- we received a free upgrade from a standard room to an executive room with all the associated perks such as access to the Executive Lounge and complimentary cocktails in the evening! It was fantastic! Our room was super comfortable and in my opinion Hilton is one of Trinidad's best hotels for delicious food. The staff was also very helpful and kind. Thanks Hilton!
No free wifi in the rooms but readily available in lobby and breakfast hall. Pool area could be smartened.
I had read a number of adverse reviews on booking.com (elevators not working, in need of upgrade, unfriendly staff) but I must say, I didn't experience any of these during my stay. The room (not an Executive Room) was most comfortable with a nice view over the Savannah, breakfast was sumptuous, the price was reasonable and my taxi was waiting for me at 4 am on morning of departure. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Breakfast to expense
By the price of the rate, it should have included breakfast. Location is not very easy to get there.
Very comfortable, great view of the city.
That the WiFi wasn't in the package. Mosquito/ sand-fly bites in the room, I got up twice to rub down my daughter down. Walk with spray, if you want to keep the balcony door open.
That the hotel was flexible with the WiFi and I got it free with one request. The hotel room was luxurious and the pillows divine. The staff and guests were friendly.
The balcony was not clean and the staff serving at the executive club room were not friendly
Access to the executive club room for h'orderves and breakfast.
peaceful surroundings, sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view of the poui trees.
I found having to pay extra money for Wifi was not good. I had to leave the hotel to use my tablet. I refused to pay extra money for wifi services that should've been including in the stay.
Service was great! Hotel very clean and breakfast was wonderful.
No free wifi in rooms it is expected in this day and age especially in executive rooms. High prices for restaurant.
Old, elevator didn't work most of time, my mom was 70yrs, needed it, had to use service elevator. Walk from room to parking is far.
Location and view, balcony was awesome
Staff needs to be more helpful. Some were more helpful than others .All should be friendly. As first time visitors we needed some help to find service elevator. Service elevator area and yard need sprucing up.Open lounge area needs upgrading.
Cleaning staff for our room was excelent. All hotel staff need to be like her.Breakfast was good.
Food not so great and no affordable options, especially since there are no other restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel comfort and upkeep.
The overall ambiance
Ac didn't work well, and in room breakfast was not delivered
Elevators were out of order and sign said being replaced since April 2014. 1 year on and had to use service elevator. True costs should be shown rather than $ XX plus 10% service charge plus 15% VAT.
A few very nice and helpful staff.
I found their food was too expensive and not much options.
The man who brought up our room service was very polite and welcoming. Very good service, I think his name was Deo.
Staff and hotel was awesome.
Everything else, had to use service elevator. Got stuck on guest elevator, there was a mold odor coming from the old carpet. Hotel very dated and did not feel comfortable walking alone.
Pool hours no 24 hr store
Restaurant food is mediocre but pricy
