Perfect location and very nice and clean rooms. Helped us arrange for taxis and other services.
The breakfast wasn't the best, but since it was included in the price is was ok.
The staff was very friendly and helped with any queries I had. Breakfast was great.
It was a pleasure being in this hotel . It was very confortable .the service very nice. Breakfast tasted good and if you want more they could give you more. The people was so kind . Definitivamente i recomend this hotel .
the convenient location,,,very close proximity to bustling POS and right next door to the US Embassy....the room was small but the space was admirably utilized. You had all the normal convenience of a hotel room and then more....the staff was friendly and helpful and b/fast was a complete meal....and to top it off the price was right...I would definitely stay again.
Very clean. Helpful staff. Good. Showers
Banging doors. no food apart from breakfast. No bar.
A clean, attractive inn. The owner and staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The location was fine. Within a few blocks were a huge, attractive park, a university, restaurants and some gingerbread architecture among modern buildings.
For 2 nights the air conditioner didn't work. The fan came on only sporadically. Two gentlemen from the staff couldn't fix the problem.
room small. opted for queen size room and could only just walk along the edge of the bed
Everything, friendly people excellent service. will return with guest. easy access to everything.thanks
Comfortable, clean, quiet, located in a good neighborhood, good breakfast, close to supermarket, restaurants and a beautiful park, nice personel. Very nice place.
I arranged with the hotel a taxi to pick me up at the airport but he didn't show up.
the breakfast service and the meal itself was fabulous
parking is not adequate. its one long driveway which means that vehicles park behind you therefore blocking you in
Close to the center...
Really small room, expected better. Not the hotels fault, but transportation to the airport never came as agreed... Do not use Island Travel Services. Almost lost our flight.
Breakfast was good.
The room was very small and smelled musty
Value for money for Caribbean standards is acceptable. The building and the rooms look nice and the breakfast is very good (you can decide between continental and local and mix it up, + fresh fruits!!).
This is probably something, which is not important for a hotel review, but Port of Spain is just not a city worth visiting. There are definitely better places to go in the Caribbean and elsewhere (hop over to Tobago).
The owner Is very disrespectful and arrogant and does not have a sense of reasoning.
Calm and delightful atmosphere....
The hotel has no pool
The staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful!
Cosy guesthouse, quiet and safe area.
The staff was very friendly and the bed and wifi amazing
Is great place to stay, it feels like home.
Not having access to internet in all property.
feels like home. very attentive cheerful and acommodating.
1. Good breakfast with local menu. 2. Helpful staff, particularly Donna.
1. No cleenex box or napkin in the room.
Miss Donna, Terry and Valentine were extremely kind and knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. The breakfast was always tasty and it was located near Queens Park Savannah.
Small, pretty hotel. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
The location is good. Breakfast local was good- pita bread, plantains, tuna.
(Local couple) Booked a room with 2 double beds, was given room 9 with one double and one single,no tv or fridge and it smelt highly of mold. When I asked the front desk about it I was told I had to keep the room as no other was available. I was offered space in the kitchen fridge. I was told that it would be a problem also because I had opened the shower and the room had to be cleaned before another guest comes in, because they would ask why the shower was wet, and that cleaners are only in during the day (I arrived 7pm). Eventually the receptionist called a manager on the phone who said I could move to a different room which had what I booked. This room smelt highly of new paint but better that the first so I took it. The receptionist said there was no chance of a refund\discount because I used booking.com and the manager would not want to do that as a fee to the site was involved. I would have paid 25% less if I had called the inn directly and let them know I was local. The parking is a strip next to the inn, first car in is the last car out, so if anyone is blocking you, you have to hope they have not gone walking and are still there to let you out. Parking on the street is tricky as each day is an alternating side of the street. It is either ttd $500 or $600 to get your car back if it is wrecked. There is a steep drain to get into the park so bumpers will scrape if not taken at an angle. There is no sign to indicate the inn except a small number on the front wall. I passed it and had to drive around the block. The inn is on the right(west) side of the street about 3 lots after the intersection. Try to get rooms 5,6,7,8 as these are on the side of the building away from the bar next door. I was in 6 and 9 and could hear the music clearly. 1 and 9 are close to a main door that all guests pass through and it can get disturbing hearing it being closed loudly.
