Friendly hotel with good facilities and in a good location.
Aircon was very noisy!
Very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff
There was nothing we didn't like
The first room I was given was dirty, dark and had no hot water.I stayed 5 nights with my niece and during my stay, we had one little soap, for the 6 days. We bought our own. The second day, after my second call, I was given the option to bathe in another room, but return to the same dirty room. I was given a new clean room when I objected and was told that those rooms were not to be used, and that I should not have been assigned there.
The cafe courtyard was pleasant to eat in; trees growing seemingly within the structure of the hotel give it a natural, relaxed atmosphere.
The pool. The food at the restaurant was nice.
The pictures of the hotel and the room are very deceiving and do not reflect the reality. The room was very dated and was not clean (there were long hairs from a previous guest all over the place). I even had to kill a flea on the room. Customer service at the hotel restaurant was also poor. I would not recommend this hotel. For the quality/price ratio, you are much better off staying at the Hilton.
Pool Situation 2 local shops
No refrigerator (very hot climate) Noisy generator
the local atmosphere
There was a great amount of staff but everything went still extremely slow Our room was only just acceptable while we thought we had booked the best hotel in Trinidad. The breakfast was minimal.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful.
Location, you need a or pay a taxi. Every thing is driving distance. The hotel food is very very very pricey$$ if you eat egg it may cast you $25USA don't eat there only if have too.the hotel don't have microwave so if you go out to eat bring somthing to your room you can eat cold.
There breakfast was very poor
Bed was to small n size of room was to small
Everything except Breakfast arrangements.
My stay was Saturday night/Sunday morning with breakfast, but it so happened that they have a Sunday morning Buffet Breakfast which is open to the public, of which House Guests are not permitted to participate. With no Maitre-D or anyone in place to direct or inform diners of this arrangement, we (house guests) helped ourselves to the buffet only to be told that we will have to pay extra for participating in the buffet although we already paid in advance for breakfast, nor knowing that breakfast was a segregated affair. After embarrassing deliberations, we were eventually exempted from having to pay a second time. That's my only "beef".
location and friendly helpful staff.
Hotel practically empty so plenty of rooms available but gave us room above noisy bar terrace. 1 night stay only and noise didnt start till late so didnt bother to complain or request move. Air conditioner so noisy had to turn it off and put up with heat.
Nice hotel, more personal and not so big as Hilton.
Standard rooms are small and beds are very small for two persons (unless you are just married). Bathroom was fair but bit outdated.
Food was terrible and at a premium price Rooms dingy and outdated and run down - in need of serious refurbishment
Staff was welcoming friendly and professional.
Staff members congregating at the entrance/gate of the building.
Great Customer Service.
Did not too like the lunch menus
I like the fact that the staff ws quick to respond to our requests. When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely cold fruity drink. I liked that.
The facility was a triple. There was a queen bed on the first floor where my husband and I slept and two twins in a loft area where my grown kids stayed. However there was no TV up there. I would recommend that there should be a 2nd tv in that loft area.
Loved that the hotel was walking distance from down town Port of Spain & the savanna.
The reservation that I reserved with booking, com wasn't received by the hotel, so we got there and the hotel had no reservations there for us. (Luckily it wasn't a busy time or we might have been stuck looking for a different place to stay.)
