Day staff extremely helpful and courteous...and had a good command of communicating in english fantastic location ($3-4 Cdn taxi price to train station) room superb free laptop in lobby/wifi/coffee/tea unlimited all day and a nice buffet

Not a major problem but a few of the front counter staff had limited english making it difficult to communicate. The staff made up for it with effort....

The bikes are available to guests who want to explore their surroundings without going on foot, and it's very thoughtful considering that they are not located near enough to downtown for walking (Beauty Stay is approximately 8 minutes away from the station by foot) I observed many scooters and some bicycles on the city streets so you can't go wrong with their bike, and they will also give you a complimentary map of Hualien

Very friendly staff. Got a cake for my lover for her birthday upon request. Extremely helpful with directions and the bike rental there was free! Reasonably price for such a lovely room! Highly recommended!

Amazing design - very nice rooms. Breakfast was wonderful (although its Asian breakfast - many reviewers complained that it wasn't western - come on. you're IN Asia, if you can't deal with not having deep fried hash browns for breakfast you shouldn't be traveling). Having a nice espresso machine on hand throughout the day was also a treat (and free). We paid 4x the price in Taipei to stay at 4 and 5 star properties and none of the rooms were as nice as this.

Wish they would have sold beer or wine and/or stocked the mini bar.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a warm and friendly staff. It has a very good ambiance. The hotel lobby including the rooms and bathrooms has beautiful modern design that gives a wonderful and cozy feeling. Not having an elevator is not a big deal since the hotel has only 2 floors. We would definitely recommend Beauty Stay to friends and relatives.

The room is spacious and clean. Staff is friendly

The staff is rather poor in English, which makes it difficult to communicate. The hotel is in a deserted area (save the stray dog) without any restaurants or bars and you have to take a taxi to the center (around 110TWN). Railway station is within walking distance (for access to the Taroko Gorge). The western section of the breakfast is very limited.

Staff is very welcoming. We had the chance to get an upgrated room which was very spacious, clean and modern. Bathroom is nice too. Design of the room is just as shown on pictures. Breakfast is ok (mostly chinese food).

Wifi does not work well in the rooms, you must go in the lobby. The hotel is not centrally located but we did not stay to visit the city. We took a taxi to go to the night market which is about 15-20mn far.

Breakfast was too simple with too few choices of food The compound that they use to disinfect the room smell lime rotten egg.
