El Dong Wu Hotel se encuentra entre los edificios históricos de Taipéi, a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de MRT de Daqiaotou. Este hotel elegante alberga una cafetería, un aparcamiento gratuito y habitaciones con conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. The service at Dong Wu hotel was exceptional, and the value for money well beyond my expectations. The location is central to many tourist attractions, and we would gladly stay there again.

For the price, it was really a well maintained hotel, very clean, and a small but comfy dining hall with free Internet access and a food range of Chinese and English Magazine. The computers were Mac Book! The room is clean, with lcd tv and bathtub, and a comfy bed. The surrounding location (within 800m) got no place of interest, no night market. The only shop is the 24hrs 7/11 store. However, the train station is within walking distance, about 7min walk.

The hotel is of the standard of Hilton etc but at a fraction of the price. Staff exceeded normal expectations - by quite a lot.

Very close to the Daqiaotou subway which makes it a great place to explore the city from. In Taipei, Dong Wu's price is very hard to beat for the value. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I stayed in the "no window room" and first of all, it does have a small window up top (like a basement window), but second of all, it really didn't matter as the room was spacious and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi throughout worked great. Staff speaks good English too. Honestly cannot find any fault with Dong Wu. The neighborhood isn't much of a destination. But again, close to the subway so you get explore. This is also a Carrefour nearby and 7-11 next to the hotel.

This hotel is excellent. The room are clean and quiet. The wifi speed is good and foc. The staff are friendly and speak good English as well. The breakfast is quite limited in variety.

I greatly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, convenient location near the MRT, and especially the cleanliness and class of the room. It was definetely value for money and I will go back there next time!

Dong Wu Hotel was well located. It was near streets where you could buy tea. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to a night market and the train station.

Dong Wu offers value for money experiences. Hotel is very clean and appeared to be renovated not long ago. Location is convenient. Breakfast is great. Apartments opposite the hotel is rather close, that is, people might be able to look into the room. However, this can be easily solved by closing the curtains.

free internet access, and the fast response from the staff while encounter situation in the room. The room has not window, so feel bore, we only can see the wall, if the facility include sauna, could be better after shopping and travelling.

The staff at reception were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The room was clean and a reasonable size. The bed was comfortable, which is sometimes a challenge in an Asian hotel! The breakfast had enough variety so that we could fuel up for the day. The fast Wifi was great! All in all we had a great few days in Taipei and, even though we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, we were happy with our experience and will go back again.

We loved this hotel. Staff were friendly and super-efficient. If we requested something at the desk, we were hardly back in our room, when it arrived. The buffet breakfast was excellent value, including salads, fruit, eggs, vegetables, toast, cereal, hot drinks including cappucino, as well as some Taiwanese treats for the adventurous to try. Free internet made it easy to communicate with home base. We highly recommend this hotel.

After reading about 25 glowing reviews and then staying at the hotel based on these comments I would say it lived up to expectations .... Not an easy thing to do!

I have to agree with all the reviews that the hotel was excellent for the money. (breakfast, room, staff, clean. Location could be better. Would definately stay again. Price and hotel itself.

The only thing we can say about Dong Wu is that: A Nice Hotel with Excellent Staff and Good Food! Inspite of the continuous rain during our stay, umbrellas were provided to us everytime we go out.

staff were so nice and helpful. The cleaning and condicions of facilities, excellent. I was very happy with our stay. I loved the fact that you can go to the breakfast room anytime and serve yourself a coffee while checking your fb with the computers they provide. I would had like the option of having dinner in the hotel.

is a 3 star hotel, provide with all the basis need, room come with heater and the counter staff are helpful and friendly. MRT is about 10 mins walk to the station. Mini mart, supermarket and night market is just ard the corner, convenience to move around.
