The Dong Wu Hotel had pleasant, friendly staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rooms had safety deposit boxes and tea/coffee making facilities. Our room had a large flat screen tv. The rooms were very quiet and peaceful. The bed was clean and comfy. We slept well every night. Our window looked out onto a Chinese temple and as we were there at Chinese New Year there were quite a lot of interesting activities going on there. There is an interesting old street Dihua Street close to the hotel. This is lined with old shophouses and makes quite an interesting walk. The food at the breakfast buffet was freezing cold every single morning of our stay. |

My stay at the Dong Wu Hotel was a most pleasant and memorable experience. I enjoyed the excellent outstanding Dong Wu Hotel Staff and Services. The Dong Wu Hotel Staff and Services were extremely customer focused. Staff and Service responsibilities and duties were carried in a very polite, kind, courteous, helpful, and efficient manner, bar none! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend to any one visiting Taipei to stay at the Dong Wu Hotel. Nothing was unpleasant at Dong Wu Hotel! |

I found the room extremely comfortable--the T.V., internet connection and teas were lovely. Coming from a country where baths are not common, I especially enjoyed the deep bathtub for relaxing before bed. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. I found the distance to the MRT a little inconvenient, especially in rainy weather. However, once you know the way it's not much of an obstacle and I imagine in nice weather the walk would be quite entertaining (not to mention healthy), |

Room was comfortable and lots of hot water with no issues with the pressure. Staff did what they could to help when they understood us. Loved the all day and night coffee machine. The position was bad for good eating and local interest. We relied on the 711 for food. If you know Taiwanese you would have no problem perhaps. Breakfast was only average. |

Comfortable, impeccably clean room with large flat-screen TV and laptop safe. Professional and friendly reception staff, always ready to assist. All in all, five star service in a very affordable, business-orientated hotel. 24-hour convenience store (7-11) just outside of hotel. Smallish room (we stayed at an economy room), ordinary breakfast, hotel is a fair walk from the nearest two metro stations (in reality this is not a problem, with taxis in Taipei being as cheap as they are). Overall, however, considering the price we paid, or even the rack rate, this hotel is very good value and we will certainly return next time we visit Taipei. |

Some of the friendliest staff that I have had the pleasure to meet. Helped me figure out where I was going every morning with maps and directions and a very convincing smile. Breakfast buffet was good value. Room was spotless and so quiet. Good free movie channels , very hot shower, free internet, free postcards, magazine library as well. Location was a 15 minute walk from a very useful train station, with some neat morning markets and temples in the area. Will definately stay here on my next visit. |

extremely courteous and helpful staff. Very clean with large spacious bedrooms. Two very minor points, probably more to do with being a foreigner in a strange land - air conditioning in hotel public areas extremely cold and breakfast completely geared up for taiwanese traveller. |

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed is very specious and the bathroom too. The breakfast was alright. But the location is a bit far away from the mtr, about walking distance of 20 mins. The surrounding has got some shops and eatery. But quite quiet at night. Hotel is good except the distance to the mtr. |

Breakfast was included and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a luxury for me just to enjoy a hot bath every night as I live in Asia and don't have a bathtub! I originally thought there was a computer in my room....but there was just wireless connection. The computers were downstairs in the public area. |
