Very good, English speaking staff, very clean, a playground for kids, nice interior, decent breakfast for a B&B, good WiFi
A bit far (25 km) to Taroko NP
Clean and beautifully design interior/exterior. Breakfast was awesomely good. Absolutely will come back again.
Walking distance to Zhi Qiang night market. Quiet environment. Bathroom has natural daylight.... some how I felt good.
Breakfast abit too simple and stop serving at 930am which is kind of early for holiday makers who want to stay in bed for longer.
It is my second time staying at jimei homestay, its a place like home. It is walking distance to night market with all the nice local delicacies. The minsu provide bicycles which you can choose to ride to the night market or cycle area the estate to have a taste of the neighbourhood.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were charming tucked on a side street. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. A nice mix of asian and american style food. Walking distance to to city shops and resturants.
There was nothing that I did't like would stay here again.
That I had to pay nt200 for laundry to get rid of bloodstains left on the bedlinen as my son's nose bled overnight.
The owner is very friendly. Recommended us to good food around the homestay, and also offer to give us free rides around the city.
the design of the rooms friendliness of staff
Very nice ambience. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Very near to Night market.
Toilet cannot be flushed properly.
Free rental bike. Free flow of coffee, tea, water and etc. Good service.
super value-worth price, very beautiful room and feeling like home
Excellent customer service, and very helpful staff. Breakfast was ready for us early after knowing that we have to check-out early to catch an early train to Taipei. Great location, near to night market.
1. Host is wonderful, interesting, kind, helpful, fluent in Chinese and English. 2. Location is great as is very close to everything (e.g. Night Market, Mountains, train/bus station), yet remains quiet. 3. Breakfast is among the best you will be served. 4. Facilities would meet everyone's needs (e.g. modern, spacious, extremely well kept).
That my stay was too short.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and varied breakfast. Spacious rooms - we were four adults and three children in one. We had a car so the location, a little out of town, was quiet. We will go back.
Excellent customer service. Staff was very helpful and prompt in retrieving and delivering an item that I have left in the minsu, even though it was 4 days after check-out. I was able to receive it at the Taipei hotel the next day after contacting them. Stayed there for 3 nights and we enjoyed the breakfast very much - freshly cooked vegetables and porridge. Room for 4 is spacious, clean and comfortable.
Staff were very helpful and our children loved simple things like the swings, green lawn and table football. The rooms are clean and spacious.
It is a little away from Hualien - and when we booked the quad we did not realize that the two double beds would be simply mattresses on the floor as the sleeping area is above a sitting area. The picture given on the website is a quad deluxe - this needs to be a little clearer.
This B&B is very near to vegetable farms which is exactly what we like. The cool weather and awesome mountainous landscape made interesting walks in the mornings and evenings. There is ample ground in the B &B for children to play and a little cafe where you can help yourself to free tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and service excellent.
Excellent service and friendly staff. Great facilities, room and breakfast. My family enjoyed the foosball and swing. There are bicycles to be used by guests. Nice farm and mountain view at doorstep. Small but interesting night market within walking distance (10min). HIghlight of the trip was getting rental electric scooter at the station, and it didn't require any license. We could easily charge up at Jimei and had a more local experience of downtown.
Everyone at Jimei was friendly and helpful. The receptionist helped us to find out train schedule and organised packed lunch. The 'breakfast' lady specially cooked kids-friendly food for our 8 & 10 yr old boys. We love our room which has beds at the loft. Room was clean and comfortable. Our children enjoyed playing foosball whenever they get a chance. Location is walking distance from ZiQiang night market that has many great food.
Friendliness and level of service is not what as described by other guests earlier . Room was also average for the price of Home stay at Hualien . It does not deserved 8.9 rating. Maybe a 7.5 is max . Location is not good. . and our room faced a piece do muddy wAste land , very unsightly.
Room facing waste land. Location too far from nearest eating place. Gave us the wrong form to fill in for hiking into Taroko gouge . We end up doing ourselves on the day we arrived . And we waste couple hour just applying at the police station . Overall experience is a 6/10.
Very Nice Home Stay.
It was a great experience to stay at Ji Mei Homestay. The homestay is very very clean. Rooms are huge as well. I was very surprise that my room has a pretty balcony as well. Very comfortable room. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped us to sort out our visits in Hualien and Tarako National Park. The tour guide recommended by the homestay to Tarako National Park is very good as well. Their Chinese breakfast variety is good. Love the free coffee provided by the homestay. Appreciate that they make the free coffee available for all day long. They also helped us to sort out our laundry at a very reasonable cost. The homestay is not far away from Hualien train station. The homestay staffs are able to offer transport from the train station to the homestay at the cost of TWD100. Alternatively, there are plenty taxis right outside the train station. There is a night market near the homestay (approximately 10 minutes walk). Will definitely stay at Jimei Homestay again for my next visit to Hualien!
The breakfast is great, the spread is good. Beverages are provided for the entire day ( coffee, tea and water )
The boss and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are spacious and clean.
This is a fantastic minsu, very clean and comfortable. It really makes you feel like you're at home. The Taiwanese porridge breakfast is just perfect to start off the day. It's quite near to Zhiqiang night market, within walking distance. Zhiqiang night market has quite a number of nice food stalls whereas Nanbin night market focus on game stalls with very, very few food stalls.
