I specifically made sure that the pool table was there before our arrival (just in case it rains and there's really nothing much to do if so), but by the time I arrived the hotel has already sold it, big disappointment. Car parking arrangements are poor, some non-hotel guests obviously took up space leaving hotel guests with no space to park. We had to park the car in front of the hotel entrance which has more-than-sufficient space but the staff insisted us to move the car away to a public parking lot nevertheless. Breakfast has no improvements since my stay since 2012, which is expected. What's worse is that the staff, Robert, cannot offer the basic services to us such as giving us a proper glass for us to enjoy our 15-year whiskey (he offered paper cups instead which was ridiculous) and was rude in requesting us to move the car away. When we asked Robert to make sure the cab driver who was going to pick us up would have sufficient room for our luggages, he didn't bother making the effort but asked us to request in advance next time (which we already did, we just wanted to double check with him). This is far from the Taiwanese hospitality we expected. I heard there was a change in Management Team which might be the cause of all these changes.
Can't beat the location situating right in front of the main street where all the vibes are. Still one of the spotlight properties in Kenting. Rooms are clean and comfortable, can't complain.
