The receptionist remembered that I was a smoker, and arranged for the door to the small balcony to be unlocked so that I could have an occasional cigarette without having to wander outside of the hotel. Internet (wired) connection was erratic. The immediate area is rather quiet and has little to offer. |

Rooms were spacious and clean. Service was excellent. Great breakfast buffet including both Asian and Western food Hotel was located perfect for my travel purpose, but might be a bit far away for tourists visiting Taipai (cab ride is needed to get into city) |

The bed was soft; reception staff very helpful; Canton Gardens restaurant was great. I wanted to swim and they said I had to wear a bathing cap (even though I never put my head in the water) - when I said no, they said I had to buy one. It is an indoor pool, there was no-one else using it. Its time they found out that wearing a rubber bathing cap is very bad for the scalp because it makes your head sweat, and consequently stink! |

The rooms were comfortable and the beds were wonderfully soft (by Asia standards). The service was excellent and the buffet was great. The complimentary cocktail was a nice touch. |

I liked the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The breakfast buffet was good. A bonus is the nearby park with its beautiful large rock garden. I would stay here again if I have the opportunity. It is also close to the high speed rail. |
