C'est Jeune Hotel

The stay was very pleasant and althought the hotel is not new but it does have a cottage feel to it. The staff were friendly and I particularly liked the fact that they pick up/drop off their guests to and from the train station for free. The staff were also very good at responding my emails which was most helpful. (Jeff was great!) That's hospitality. Will definitely return again and also recommend others. Thank you.

I think the breakfast could be improved particularly for foreign guests who would prefer tea and coffee. Taiwanese milk tea is not the same as English breakfast tea! That could be easily changed by including tea bags and sachet of coffee with small milk or cream packets. Overall the rooms are clean but do pay attention to the closet (musty smell from lack of ventilation or non use).

Very clean rooms and really good service. They accommodated our needs for breakfast and allowed us to use the conference room for breakfast after we checked out. The location was good too. Overall, a great value.

The rooms seem larger on the website but actually they were not that large. The family room was basically a regular room tightly stuffed with 2 twin beds. One of the regular rooms was actually roomier than the family room.

If our taxi driver, who took us on the tour of the Taroko Gorge (as provided by your hotel) could speak more English it would have been better. Time was lost and it was confusing,due to the fact that we couldn't communicate properly with each other .

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable, and the room a good size, by Asian standards. The staff were very helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast, delivered to the room, was decent, particularly the more traditionally Chinese options. Free coffee and tea were available in the lobby at all times.

The bathroom, while quite clean, was a bit musty smelling.

We all agreed that the room service breakfast was fantastic.

The unkempt environment (of the other premises) outside the hotel took us by surprise but the service more than made up for it.

I liked the services in term of professionalism, and kindness. Quick to help and to answer our requests as to rent scooter...Also we appreciated the bike disposal.

The automatic light switches in the room are inconvenient. The light by the door stays on no matter what. I had to remove it in order to sleep at night.

The staff were helpful and courteous. A uniquely different stay experience at a hotel in Hualien for 3 nights. In our total of 11 nights stay in Taiwan including Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung, my daughter has voted C'est Jeune her most memorable stay.
