10-15mins walk to nearest mrt station, eateries and convenient shop just outside the hotel. Hotel is quite new and clean. The hotel can arrange a transport to the airport at quite a reasonable rate of NT$300/pax.

The standard double room with no window is very small and cramp, with the same rate or even cheaper rate can get a bigger room hotel also near to mrt station. I stayed at a hotel near Taipei Main Station, the rate is cheaper by NT300, yet room is bigger. They are not flexible with the check out time, strictly 12pm, only can give 15 mins grace, anything more than that, be prepared to pay NT$300/hour. Save your breath to argue or even plead with them, they will tell you they cannot do anything, the computer automatically charge you (For my case, even I already check out, make full payment, after I went to my room to make a fast shower and brought the luggage down to give back the room card, they still insisted I need to pay NT$300) I would like to convey this message to them : 电脑是死的，人是活的！ In English: Computer is dead but human is alive!

The WIFI was very poorly connected, mostly down during my stay. The air-con couldn't be adjusted to keep us comfortable during a cold season, so we turned off the air-con during our sleep which caused the room to be stuffy. Not flexible in extending the check-out time.

Breakfast give more choices the best.

Breakfast servicing staff should not so fast collect the plate that still have dishes in the plate. Will let customer felt that not to eat so much. But we normally do not eat so much for breakfast.

I lived in room801 that might be very close to the machine room of the hotel,my husband felt noisy .

the service and the food are both very good, hotel room are very comfortable but a little bit small but value fo money

The service from the reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The service is truly excellent. The room is also very clean and tidy.

It would be good to change the food choices for breakfast after two or three days. Having the same choice of food for seven days is not so interesting.

It is located in a very lively and interesting part of town, not far from a metro station. It has a brilliant gourmet restaurant of its own and serves a good breakfast as well. Room fine; wifi perfectly OK. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, some of them with good English.

Good price, convenient and good service from the hotel

Staff: Margerite at front desk was very efficient, spoke excellent English and was helpful in matters related to holiday planning. The others spoke little English (enough to assist with ordinary matters) but made up for it with their friendliness. Location: Great location, a 10 minute walk to the Zhongshan MRT. There's a great little Taiwanese restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel. Rooms: I booked a room without a window, they gave me an upgrade to a much larger room with a little window. The rooms are very modern looking, and well designed to make the most of the limited space. The bathrooms are very clean, and modern. Heated toilet seats in a USD 90 hotel in Asia? Impressive. Great value for money.

Very small rooms, with no windows and virtually no view. Basic breakfast. Staff other than Margerite and William speak limited English. No gym or pool, of course. Not a luxury hotel, but very good value for money.

It's a little bit expensive to stay there during the Christmas holiday although the hotel in general is quite nice.

I stayed for 3 nights with my mum. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Our room on the 9th floor was clean and spacious. I especially liked the glass restroom with tasteful decor. Truly a 3 star hotel with 5 star service.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we needed assistance to go some places. Even before I arrived, they responded quite quickly when I emailed them some queries. We also realised the hotel was situated in a Japanese-populated area, so the staff were extremely fluent in Japanese and services could be said to be catered especially for Japanese travellers. There were several convenient stores and restaurants around the area and both Zhongshan MRT and Taipei Main Station were within walking distance of about 7-10 mins, though I would have preferred it be nearer. Overall, it was quite value for money.

Wireless was, as mentioned by many travellers, terrible in the rooms. We can only connect if we are standing near the door or at the lobby level. The first night when I took a shower, I realised too late that the towels were dirty and my friend had to call the staff up for replacements while I stood shivering in the cold bathroom. Fortunately they came up quick enough with clean towels. The design of the bathroom wasn't very practical though it was pretty to look at. There were not enough hooks or clothes bars for hanging your clothes and towels. Aircon could not be adjusted to a higher temperature of 25 degrees (there was no heater installed) and we had to turn it off because it was too cold.

Very good location, just 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station and 10 mins to Taipei Main station. Very convenient to take any kind of public transportation. Room was more spacious than we expected, Staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast did not has many choices but taste not bad. Wifi in room was weak and could not use facetime/skype. But the staff was helpful to set up a router for us, though only improved a bit, still really appreciated the help. Wifi in lobby was good. Value for money hotel.

Mai hotel is a few blocks away to the conference area. Accessible to all transportation, taxi, bus and MRT. Staff are accommodating and courteous.

They dont clean the carpet daily. Worn out towels.

I liked the modern interiors and the rooms were a good size, and we had a huge bathroom.

our rooms had to be accessed through a different elevator, and that lobby is not as nice, plus we felt isolated, as our rooms were the only 2 for the level.
