Score from 97 reviews Very good
The hotel was relatively close to airport and had a superb staff who were really helpful and friendly. They also offer one free airport shuttle ride to or from airport. The hotel driver greeted me with a sign at the airport and was very friendly.
The hotel is a bit old and they were in the midst of renovating the rooms and floors.
The staff was great. Friendly and professional. local restraunts near the hotel were good.
location is kind of far from Taoyuan Station.
Great staff. The check in was done with courtesy and efficiency. The hourly hotel shuttle to the airport was on time and courteous. Lobby was a football pitch of marble which gave a clean look and good first impression. Location in residential neighborhood was very convenient for shopping and dining.
Room carpet was a bit older and so was the bathtub. But there was remodeling going on. The airport shuttle capacity was 10 or less so make sure you make your reservation 3 days in advance per the hotel instructions or risk a 350 TW taxi to the airport.
Good staff. Eddy is very helpful in terms of our shuttle services, suggests places to go, etc. Cheap accomodation. Near Taipei 101 station.
The location is hard to find. Taxi drivers don't know the place.
Big room Good service A lot of shops which I could eat there Transport service to the airport.
No MRT The lock of the door uses traditional lock.
My 5 year old son and I have stayed here 3 times now on stopovers between Australia and Canada. Initially it was because it was the only hotel that would let us stay from 7am to 9pm without a lot of extra charges and also because they were the only hotel that communicated well in English via email. They also have a free shuttle (which is now only free one way). The area seems a bit dodgy but the hotel itself is fine and the staff really try hard to make you happy. There is a kids playground the size of the moon close to the hotel and taxis are cheap. We have made it our regular stopover pitstop.
Taoyuan is hot, stinky and (seems) dangerous. Not sure if other areas around Taipei are better. The hotel is fine though
Good staff, good rooms, good breakfast, free shuttle bus. Near the airport (only 20 minute drive). Good prices for rooms.
They promised to wait us around tourist service center when we will arrive but they forgot about this and the bus came to pick up us after I called to the hotel. They have free shuttle bus for only one way.
the room was clean, the service was good, shuttle to airport was on time and the schedule was flexible. if the parking lot full in basement, they will find a parking space for us
air condition seems not working properly, it was too cold and hard to adjust it.
They pick me up from airport for free Internet for free without any password Polite staff
Friendly staff and cleanliness and airport transfer.
The air cons and TV controllers have problem, and the spoil safe locker
Huge room space with friendly staff and a shuttle bus service to International airport.
The air conditioner temperature cannot be adjusted accordingly.
Smell from outside
The room facilities are Old
Excellent staff attitude and hospitality. Comfortable and clean room.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent English. Comfy bed and great choice of TV stations.
For the price, there was nothing particularly special in the facilities. It is in a very built up area near the airport so most prices are high. The pool was not very appealing although there was an attendant and the facilities were clean.
Facilities, furniture, room deco are VERY VERY OLD. We stayed at lai lai, a 3 star hotel in taichung for 2100/night taiwanese dollar for 6 weeks, breakfast included, and it was worth every penny. Bright room, new furniture and deco, silent aircon that works excellently. On the other hand, taoyuan airconditioner was very cold, like around 20, and cannot be adjusted. We complained but the technician could not do anything. With the old and not functioning facilities, taoyuan has passed its time. For a four star hotel, I would expect more!!!
The bed and friendly and helpful staff
the bar counter is too far from the room when I want to get hot water to make milk for my child.
The staff gave my family some good ideas to do while walking around Taoyuan during our short layover.
The pool hours were confusing and not convenient for my kids who wanted to swim in the morning before checking out.
Nice big room, very pleasant and helpful staffs, free airport shuttle.
A little far away from TPE airport
closer to airport and ONEWAY free shuttle
not easy to communicate, staffs english is (mainly) very poor. have "lounge bar" but is not possible to get a drink there. NOTHING in minibar Breakfast ends at 09:30am
The room itself was comfortable.
We received a ride from the high-speed rail station to the hotel. When we asked to arrange for a ride to the airport the next morning, we were told that we were only allowed one shuttle ride. This is an unusual policy and should be made clear on the website.
We booked this hotel because it offered airport transfer and luggage storage. We were met at the airport promptly after clearing immigration and claiming our bags. The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was huge and clean. At night it was very quiet and the bed allowed for a good night's rest.
Some of the staff did not speak English but then they were always ready to refer to an English-speaking person to answer questions.
Loved the front desk lady ( Fari ?) She advised where to go and eat
