Fantastic staff. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Gorgeous room and beds. Excellent facilities.
Would loved to have stayed longer.
Huge room with lots of gadgets, lighting and drapes control panels at bedside. Clever sliding doors.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are amazing and very clean. We were in a prime location in the middle of all the major attractions.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and the wi-fi froze every now and then but nothing major. I went to Taiwan for a good time which I got.
Love all of them There is a ceremony to countdown with Japan via NHK. I love the ambiance and the Japanese way to celebrate the New Year.
a little bit expensive
During my stay, I got a surprise present from the hotel on my birthday. Excellent services and facility!
Location, staff, and rooms, are all positives !
If you enjoy your breakfast then you will likely be disappointed as it was no better than 3 star, and not of a 5 star hotel standard.
Warm and helpful staff State of the art facilities
May be a bit costly
Brand new, advanced fittings and fixtures in the rooms. Everything is new and works perfectly. Friendly helpful staff always, many are young and energetic and well-trained. Japanese-style attention to detail Lots of food and shopping options nearby. MRT station is 5 minutes walk away.
Toilets are very advanced but a little loud in flushing!
Everything is nice except wired internet - it was almost unusable. Given the pricing of the hotel, the internet shouldn't be that bad.
The Spa, Onsen
Attitude and service of the Front Desk Staff was very cold and unwelcoming. Did not have a pleasant feeling from time of check-in. Shortened my stay and moved to a different hotel
Stayed for two nights. A great experience. Location, service, staff and hotel facility are perfect.
Enjoyed the stay with my parents Friendly faces everywhere
the room is equipped with updated technologies. If you stand before the toilet pot, the cover goes up automatically and close when you walk away. It flush also automatically. The lights were designed to give a luxury feeling. On the first stay was had a room with shower with many functions. Unfortunately the second time the shower was with rain shower only, however still very good.
The Japanese restaurant and its charming Japanese hostess Great service from the Bell Captain
Okura is a prestigious name in Tokyo, Japan This hotel in Taipei does not correspond to expectaciones and Okura' s reputation Staff does not understand proper english and is not well trained The breakfast buffet chárged NT $ 660 per person is a shame ! The Royal Taipéi next door offers a much better service and cleaner place Pity for the Okura which is rather new hotel
The layout of the room, with movable partitions between the sleeping area, the wash area and the lobby, is wonderful. The room is among the best I've ever had. The toiletries include everything one could want. I wanted a low floor and very close to the elevators. I got exactly what I wanted. The desk area is beautiful. The staff are all unfailingly helpful. Five stars.
The laundry prices are high; the choice on the room service menu is quite skimpy.
Great location. Good management. Newer facilities.
All the staff greet guests in Japanese instead of Chinese. For foreign visitors who visit Taiwan, we like to experience the local language and culture. In Hawaii, hotel staff greet you with "aloha" and in France "bonjour" no matter you are Japanese or not. Since this hotel is in Taiwan, I think it is better to greet guests in Chinese first. If the guests responded in Japanese, then the hotel staff can carry the rest of the conversation in Japanese.
Everything. The staff were exceptional. The hotel was stunning. Had breakfast one morning and was very good value. Location is fantastic. Will stay again.
Internet was a bit slow.
Service was excellent, courteous, attentive and friendly. Room was fantastic. Rooftop pool - wow. All the bellhops opening doors, carrying luggage, helping you get a taxi, etc. should be paid top dollar because in my book they made the stay at the Okura Prestige really special.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but not particularly tasty.
We had an upgrade to a suite after we told the hotel that we were on honeymoon. For the price we initially paid, the suite is priced triple that amount. Thumbs up for the hotel. The staff are very helpful. My wife fell sick during the stay and the staff assisted to arrange an appointment at an english speaking clinic for us.
perhaps the only thing is that the wifi is a little unreliable. The LAN cable connection is very slow. The wifi connection is only reliable for hand held devices, not recommended for laptops.
Good location for shopping and sightseeing.
We stayed at an executive room. I felt that it was just a large space and not ornate interior.
Friendly staffs great facilities and clean room
Clean and good service.
Windows were locked so ventilation was poor.
Like everything in this hotel. Will definitely come back next time!
