Wonstar Hotel Ximen II  

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The bus to and from the airport/hotel is convenient.

The breakfast spread lacks variety, was the same for 4 straight days. Though, we enjoyed the porridge for breakfast, they should try to have different spread everyday. Wished they had an iron that we could borrow.

New Facility, Clean and spacious room, easy access to XiMengDing Shopping, 5 mins walking distance to Ximen Station.

Same daily breakfast menu. Room carpet has slight smell, perhaps, it was not chemical clean regularly.

I liked that its very close to the night market ,restaurants and train station.

Didnt like the breakfast food but good enough for a budget hotel.

Noise from the back alley

The location was excellent. My main concern that being in the middle of Ximending, there would be a lot of noise. However, we slept very well. The staff spoke English well and were very helpful. The in room free wifi was good, though there was some buffering with videos. The room itself was basic, but sufficed and was clean. Cost was comprable to the surrounding area.

Nothing really. In the first room that we stayed in, the fridge did not work, but we didn't complain about it.

1. Breakfast was cool, small and lacks variety. The food was of the boiled and watery type (e.g., boiled eggs, boiled vegetables). 2. Wifi in the room was not working most of the time. It was a disappointing stay in a hotel with out-of-date management style. There are much better hotels in the same location.

The location is perfect as it is within few small streets to the shopping area Xi Men Ding and the subway line. Staffs are all very friendly and will go all out to help when in doubts. Example when we need suggestions on city tours or sightseeing places and even booking of taxi. There is the availability of free wifi in the room. The drinks and snacks are free and will be replenished everyday. Nice gesture.

Room is relatively small and it is easily confused with the other branch near the main road. Breakfast lacks of variety but we can always go for alternatives outside hotel.

All the girls at front desk are excellent. Polite, helpful and friendly

Clean, no-fuss, convenient location and helpful staff make a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast menu can be changed slightly everyday or else it is the same every morning. Otherwise it fine.

Near to shopping area and easy access to Public transportations.

room is a little small i feel. maybe because the bed is too big for 2 person. room has very poor lighting.

Hotel is very near to shopping district which open till midnight. About 2 mins walk to the shopping area and 3 mins walk to MRT. Perfect for people who wants to do tons of shopping.

The staff is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to tell you what you need to know. Language barrier became negligible. Rooms are plain but very comfortable. Value for money. Made first Taipei visit very enjoyable.

房间很干净，大堂人员很热忱周到，就算半夜归来，都会起身致礼问候。地理位置很好，出门转弯就是西门町商圈- ，捷运步行五分钟即可。周边早餐和小吃资源很丰富

酒店的所有员工都非常热情及礼貌。令人有宾至如归的感觉。无论大小事都热心地帮忙。他们的态度是最令我们满- 意的一点。

1 -曾住过的双人房经常出现烟味，特别是晚上。

Location of this hotel is extremely good.

All staff there were impolite except one female staff who was working at the night shift during my stay. Housekeeping were messy, they didn't clean up the paper bags which were put next to the rubbish bin. In addition, they just put my sleeping clothes sloppy on top of the telephone. And finally, they charged me nt100 for my 15 minutes late for checking out, and not intended to give me any receipt for the late fee.

The location of the hotel is good as it's close to subway. Also, it's in the centre of the ximending. It's very suitable for travelers who like shopping and eating because the night market is interesting and convenient. The staff were helpful to provide suggestions on your travel tips. The bathroom is well equipped and the hot water supply is stable and good.

The room is a bit small for 2 people but it's fine for a short stay. The breakfast choice is very limited even for drinks. It's mainly Chinese breakfast.
