Simplicity of check-in and check-out. Just produced a print-out slip and the hotel staff will do the rest.We like the space accorded by the VIP room. A family with 4 children of varying age from 3 to 12 were pleased with the size of the room which fit all its family members into one large bedroom. Its proximity to Taipei Main Station - 5 minutes away by taxi make the transfer to international airport or Taiwan High Speed Rail to other Taiwan destinations. There was not many great eateries around the hotel, unlike those hotels situated around in Ximenting. Westerners will find the absence of bars/pubs around the hotel a let-down. Its proximity to Ningxia Night Market is a plus - but the lack of variety of local Chinese dishes in the small night market, as compared to other busy night markets, make it a poor location for accessibility to good food and night life. |

Convenient location; clean, comfortable room; friendly staff. On arrival, the room booked was not available, so I was "upgraded" to a noisy room facing the street. (After I was "downgraded" on the second night, I was happy.) Although the staff speaks some English, it was clearly not comfortable for them, so it wasn't really possible to have a conversation. |

very good furniture, traditional style room{delux room}, breakfast a bit limited {drinks) , but nice and variable. Friendly reception, 3 min to the station by foot, nice food outlet around. Room with windows into the wall. Aircondit. not adjustable, location a bit off the central parts of Taipei. No shuttle service to the city any more. Bath was liking a bit. |

room was clean and tidy, was quite close from the mrt station. breakfast meal was ok as well, at least better than some of the comments i find on this site. i also had the cigarette smell in my room that the ppl complained abt, but sort of got used to it then..(or at least didn't really bother me after the 1st night). staffs were friendly but it would have been better if they could understand english little better.. had hard time explaining some of the arrangements with the airline. |

Very good and comfortable hotel. Definitely nice in almost every way. Friendly staff, lot of free extra services etc. 100% sure return on my next Taipei trip if rooms available. Yep, like others have said also, breakfast is nothing to "brag" about. Quite poor, but it really didn't matter for me in overall so much. |

The pleasant staff, the location and the cleaniness of the room Did not have twin single beds. Even if available had to pay extra costs each night. This was a turn off. But the single queen size bed was still fine. |

I like the 24 hours free internet and massage chair, which made me felt completely right at home during my trip. The free drop off sevice at any place in Taipei really help me finding my conference revenue. Last but not least, the perfect location of less than 10 minutes leisurely walk to MRT and this MRT is only 2 stops from the main station. Well, the staffs should have known better about sight-seeing information such as place to go in Taiwan, how to get there. |

Unfortunately, there was somewhat of a constant cigarette smoke smell in the corridors. My business partner, who was in another room, had to switch to another room because he couldn't sleep the first night due to a very strong cigarette smell. This can really be a big concern for a lot of people. A suggestion for you: here in Canada you could be fined or charged if you're caught smoking in your hotel room. Just a suggestion... |

Yomi Hotel is centrally located with MRT station just 10 minutes away. The free daily transport to anywhere within Taipei is plus point. The staff are all multi-tasking, hardworking people. For the price we pay this is indeed a money for value Hotel. |

The room interior was similar to a 4 or even 5-star hotel. The staff are very friendly and facilities are good; hotel is very near to Shuang Lian station and you can get to town in a jiffy. Nicely located so it is a good budget hotel and I hope it stays that way. |

As frequent travellers around Europe and Asia, we find this hotel the very best that we had ever stayed at a budget price. Location-wise, it took us only 3 to 4 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Shuanglian MRT Station. Apart from that, the hotel provides us with heart-warming and efficient services that we would grade as excellent. The attitude ot the staff is truly commendable, and they converse well in English. Daily, we are provided with the following items/services without extra cost : delicious buffet breakfast and whole day long tea/titbits at their dining hall; fruit-basket, bottled drinks, packet noodles, tea-bags, and titbits in the room. The well-kept room is very cozy and it is equiped with free internet, DVD, TV, refrigerator, digital safe, and tea-making facilities. To top it up, we even managed to wash and tumble-dry our clothes at the hotel's laundry for free. To make our stay more pleasant, the hotel gave us free rides to locations within the Taipei city. As we stayed for 7 nights, we were given a complimentary ride from the hotel to CKS Airport in the hotel's car. This fantastic hotel definitely treats their guests with respect. It certainly offers much more than the price we paid for. As a matter a fact, Yomi Hotel made our stay at Taipei a wonderful experience despite the hot climate. |

Dong Wu is an outstanding, well-kept hotel offering value-for-money 7 minute’s walk from the Metro, in a quieter part of Taipei nearby cafés and restaurants. |
Royal Biz Taipei Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Taipei and walking distance to Taipei's business district and the finest shopping and cultural venues. |
