Extremely nice location directly on the beautiful beach. Helpful and service oriented owners and staff. Very good restaurant.

No Wifi, but neighbour resort had Wifi.

Being next to other resorts where wifi is available. Being close to the most reasonably priced scuba diving on the island. The beautifully decorated rooms. The lovely view from the restaurant. The fresh fruit and juice of breakfast. The delicious meals available for lunch and dinner The big bathrooms

The chipatis or pancakes for breakfast (would have liked something a little more fancy/ wholesome, like maybe a Spanish omelette, or boiled eggs with quality toast and grilled tomatoes). I would have liked a bath mat The stairs up to the top rooms need repairing (cracks, uneven and painful on bare feet).

A perfect hideaway to get away from the busy city of Dar.. We had a fantastic stay and felt welcomed every time we went. The staff is amazing. We were able to relax and fully unwind. We are looking forward for a longer stay...

The location was great, the staff was very helpfull and helped us with organizing a spice tour trip which was very good. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast with each morning fresh juice and fruit and enough bread or pancakes. The prices for drinks and for food are good value for money. Try for sure the sea food plate ( or any of the other dishes all of them are of good quality and quantity ). The possibility to snorkel was also a good plus point for this location.

there was nothing to complain about, everything was like we expected, relax and nice place!

Twisted Palms is in a delightful location on the Eastern side of Zanzibar, right on the coast. It was quiet and beautiful and we were made most welcome. Be sure that you go on the walking tour of the local village and see the amazing Charity School, started by an inspired individual to help the very poorest to get access to education. The staff at Twisted Palms were efficient, friendly but unobtrusive. It was a great place to stay

Not much! If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place to be, though we were perfectly comfortable.

Owners were very helpful and kind. The lodge is situated on a very private beach area and the quiet and relaxed atmosphere was delightful. I would definitely stay here again.

The menu tells you the food will take a long time to arrive and it does. I would recommend you order your food some time before you actually want to eat to allow some buffer time.

Great place to spend holidays on Zanzibar - very good diving school in neighborhood (“African…”). Great cuisine, reasonable prices, one of most beautiful white-sand beach in Zanzibar just in front of your room – what more do you need?

All the staff were really friendly and helpful with organizing activities. Our lodge was neat and the seaside restaurant was nice. We intended on staying for 2 nights but ended up staying for a week!

The twin lodge had one big comfortable bed and one small not-so-good bed, which was inconvenient for friends.

No ice for the drinks Sometimes drinks not cold due to not being refilled in the fridge No safe for valuables Bed noisy and mattress too soft Some tables at the restaurant not comfortable (on the edges ) Tea cups should be replaced . Many places broken .

Twisted Palms is little paradise. great location (next to the ocean), amazing owners! great place to chill and enjoy nature and yourself. and very very good food in restaurant. Definetely will be back again!

there was nothing to dislike. but if you search civilization (like wifi, being close to city) this hotel not for you.
