One of those cities that’s big enough to have what you need, but small enough to have an intimate community feel of a small town. Love the people and the heritage. And being right off the water is always a plus for me! 😊

The city is nice.
The city is nice. You can see all the attractions (there aren't so many) in one day. At least that's the right time for me. The food in the city is amazing and the prices are decent. Try the beaches during the summer. It's not seaside, but it's nice.

Horrible place.
Horrible place. We wanted to do cruise on Dnepar, but they canceled , food was horrible, hotel as well. On the airport people protested and did not give to us to go to plane. We almost missed our flight. It was extremly stressful since nobody speaks English and nobody could not explan to us waht was going on, even solders that was in the middle of that mess. It was night mare, I was so happy leaving that town.

It's not Venice or Rome, but Cherkassy has a lot to offer, with a nice centre surrounded by beaches and really good country parks nearby. It is easy to overlook Cherkassy as a destination, as it does not push itself, but it is always enjoyable in a warm friendly welcoming way.PaulPoland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Cherkasy is not a tourist destination.
Cherkasy is not a tourist destination. You really have to have a reason to come here. I have such a reason. But, there are many features that are well worth visiting. Valley of the Roses, the Mother statue, and other activities provide for a very nice time, generally while there is good weather.
