The Hostel was ideally located, near to Independence square, local eateries, Khreschatyk Street & main post office. Very friendly English speaking staff. In the reception area there are a selection of cards & pamphlets on the city sights and local tours. Although small there was tea/coffee making facilities.

It was very noisy - even for a hostel. But, I want to recommend Julia, the young local girl who worked on reception - she was lovely. She was very helpful, but very overworked. I really felt sorry for her. She seemed to do all the work around the place. She deserves a fun holiday, because she is so calm and cheerful, when there is chaos around her. Thank you Julia! I managed to get a single room for 4 nights at a cheap price - having had to change travel plans at the last minute. Overall I was happy with the place.

Good location, low prices. Free bottled water and coffee. When I was there New Years eve one of the British guests tried to hug the hostel owner (in congratulations of New Year). She kicked up a storm. It was really funny :)) Guests are allowed to be and often are drunk at all times of the day and night. There is absolutely no security at night. The door is left unlocked at night. I once saw a homeless man coming out of one of the rooms. Because no one works at the reception at night there is no control over noise. It's an ok place to get drunk and party but if you want quiet I'd stay somewhere else.

Excellent location is the reason to chose this hostel. Rather good place to sleep in, but nothing else. Shower is too narrow to undress. It was dump in room and wi-fi signal was too weak.

The staff is very friendly and open to help you. The rooms were pretty bright and clean. It was nice to find out sofa and chairs unroll and turn into extra sleeping places. Some furniture is weary (not a big deal though if you plan to stay for a couple of nights).

The staff were very friendly and one of them even volunteered to iron my shirt! The rooms are air conditioned, funky looking and considering that there is free Wi-Fi in the hostel, the place is fantastic value for money. You can see the Independent Square from the balcony - making the hostel conveniently placed within the centre of the capital of Ukraine. The stairways that lead up to the apartment containing the hostel are very outdated and need serious refurbishment. However, walking into the apartment gives you a total shock as it is so clean compared to the outside corridors/stairways. But don't let that put you off. Its all part of the experience there!

Location, location, location!!!! For this price and location everyting was ok. Nevertheless I would not recomend this Hostel in high season when all beds are occupied - for sure it is overcrowded!!! There is no real reception hall and rest room.

The place is just amazing. Our balcony was just above the Maidan. At some point we were asked to move to the other hostel for the remaining time as our room was booked by other people (despite we booked the room in advance). We refused and stayed in our room.

The location is unbeatable, the view from the balcony unforgettable ! The day before my arrival the hostel extra sent me an e-mail to let me know they're expecting me. The washrooms are limited.

Месторасположение! Прямо на майдане в доме по центру, на последнем этаже. Вид с балкона шикарный, лучше не бывает! Все чисто, похоже новое, видимо недавно сделали ремонт. Интерьер оформлен с фантазией гирлянды, лампочки. Подъезд жилого здания убогий, хотя они и пытались его разукрасить. Лифт малюсенький и страшный во всех смыслах. Персонал какой-то невеселый, т.е. все хорошо, но нету радости в глазах. :) А может это везде так в Украине, не знаю.

Расположение хостела в самом центре Киева, в нашем номере окна выходили прямо на Майдан Незалежности и соотношение цены и качества очень нас порадовали. Гибкость бронирования.
