The room itself was great.

Though they advertise a bar, they have none. In fact, they have virtually none of the facilities most hotels offer.

Very good service and nice people. Decent room, good internet.

The bathroom was smelling bad.

Clean hotel with attentive staff. Advice on local conditions and attractions in the town was accurate, complete and given promptly.

No restaurant except for breakfast ( which must be ordered the day before) This is a problem for other meals, as the location is remote from areas where there are places to eat. Shower did not work. Hotel was unable to fix before I left. Noisy fan in bathroom would not turn off. This is the second time I have stayed here, and the formal stocktake of bedding and coat hangers in my presence ( before I was 'released' from the hotel on check out) would have been insulting, had it not been so comical.

Room was large and well equipped for a business trip. Good sized desk for working on and a sofa for relaxing on to read. The only option as no non Russian / Ukrainian tv channels. Very quiet area.

During my stay there were extended power cuts which resulted in no internet and no running water. The staff were friendly but had very limited spoken english. Breakfast has to be ordered the night before and the inventory of the room and contents when checking out is quite amusing. The location is away from the city centre so a taxi is required for dinner each night as the hotel has no restaurant. Again another hotel that thinks a double bed is made by pushing two singles together and ignoring the joints down the middle. Really quite annoying. Especially when they only give you a single sized quilt.
