Location and the staff. Both were 100% perfect.

Tv connetion wasn't there, but wifi had great connection.

Nice and friendly girl on the reception. The room was very nice, the hostel if located very close to city center and to Puzata hata if you want eat typical ukrainian food.

The room was very cold, and heater didn't work well.

Dirty pillow and blanket. Need to ask personal about additional facilities: kitchen and other. We has stay 2 years ago and all was more- more good.

The price is the best there is by far and with the perfect location in the heart of the city, these are the 2 main advantages. Besides the staff is really nice.

4th floor no elevator. Wifi works only in the lobby Don't expect something fancy everything is as simple as it gets

Bathroom and toilet were private, however should be cleaner.

First of all, the location, Excellent. In the middle of city. Close to almost all attractions. The staff are very friendly. One can get help to almost anything, one might ask about. All the receptionists speak good english. The cleaning ladies (Gala and Rosalina) can only few words in englsih but they are so kind and helpfull and they do great job. There is a grill available for the guests. Great place where you can stay and enjoy Lviv. I'd say the prices here in Sun Hostel are so low compared to the quality of the place and the services offered by the staff. This will be my "home" in my future trips to Lviv. I definitely recommend it to everyone whether you are solo traveller, couple or a group. Anir from Norway, Slo Traveller

Prices, location

Internet is not available in all rooms (wasn't in mine), only in shared space, where usually hostel staff and their friends hang out. There was no light in the toilet, flush was broken, in my room there was a leak, carpet was constantly wet and smelly. It was not really clean also.

The staff were very nice

Friendly helpful staff, awesome location right in the centre of Lviv, ice cold beer / soft drinks fridges at reception

Bed was hugely uncomfortable, every bed spring sticking out; bed sheets too small for the bed; shower cold by the evening; wi-fi only available up to the 2nd floor, nothing above. All these things can - and should - be easily rectified to make this a first class hostel.

Excellent central location, friendly/helpful staff

Filthy, one single disgusting shower + toilet room shared between 20 people, hot rooms, uncomfortable beds, broken light bulbs not replaced in rooms and staircases (a torch was necessary to walk to the top floor), the place looked worse than a homeless people's hostel, WiFi only works in reception area, problem with paying the bill in advance

The best thing about this hostel is Location. It will take you only 10 minutes to get to the opera theater and even less to get to downtown.

1. Other tourists were placed in our (double) room even we had booking, so we were offered to stay in another room for 14 for the same price with very poor facilities: no hot water, dirty toilette. When we asked for discount we got it. However we were ready to pay and get what we actually booked. 2. In the middle of the night some of the staff just entered our room (by opening the door with their key) because they "needed to look at the boiler"... without calling us or even knocking at the door. 3. coming back from downtown we found hostel staff drinking alcohol. 4. Wifi was promised but worked only by reception desk and we lived on the 7th floor with no elevator.

They let us check-in at just 10 am, no problems at all. Very friendly staff.

They could do some improvements in the bathrooms (appliances, piping, toilet paper).

Most of all I liked the location of it!!! It's very close to the city centre. There are also some very good fast foods a few steps away from the hostel. The staff is very friendly. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. There is a washing machine and a fridge.

The rooms are not very clean. :(((

Замечательное месторасположение. Приветливый персонал. Очень необычный номер (двухместный, на мансардном этаже) с санузлом, одна стена которого - окно на улицу :))

Не было горячей воды, максимум не холодная. Иногда вода прекращала литься (5 этаж). Не очень хорошо со шкафами для размещения одежды - есть маленькие, и те заставлены кроватью так, что неудобно открывать. В общем зале на нижнем этаже накурено.

Проблемы с горячей водой. Душевая кабина протекает и вода льется в комнату.

Отличное расположение - до центра города 5-7 минут пешком по красивым местам

Рваное и старое постельное белье и полотенца, даже немного брезгливо ими пользоваться Частое отсутствие горячей воды (за трое суток один раз была чуть теплая и один раз горячая)

вполне уютный отель в центре потрясающего города. рядом пузата хата, где можно недорого и вкусно покушать

отличное расположение, прямо в центре, удобно добираться до главных достопримечательностей.

отсутствие горячей воды и отношение персонала к этой проблеме. за двое суток пребывания принять теплый душ так и не удалось, персоналом для устранения такого неудобства абсолютно ничего не было предпринято, все просьбы и жалобы принимались в штыки. на ночной шум от проживающих студентов также от работающего персонала не было предпринято никаких действий для наведения должного порядка.
