the woman is very friendly. she tries to help everyone even when there is a communication problem. yes, the there is a language barrier but the quality of service and atmosphere outweighs the small problems. they prepare great home cooked meals--fresh to your desires. the rooms and bathroom are very clean. this woman also is very friendly, kind and very understanding of your needs. it is located deep in the neighborhood of a residential area. therefore, those who have a car and want piece and quiet; this is an excellent choice to sleep over. if you need a ride to the airport, they also can help to the borispil international airport! but overall very friendly, helpful.

low wifi connectioin sometimes limited parking

Very convenient to the airport, but hardly noticed the noise of an airport. The staff was extremely friendly and assisted me with making travel arrangements to and from the hotel. I will surely stay here again.

Hotel is in close proximity to the Borsipol airport and excellent value-for- money for those which must have extended break between the flights at Borispol airport. Although just 4 km from Airport, rooms have good soundproof windows and planes' noise isn't too disturbing. Hotel provides transportation by car for modest fee (around 5 Euros) - you have to ask and car Sasha will pickup you in just 15 min. Tv has several hundreds of satellite channels. Hotel has excellent price - <15 Euros per night!

Hotel is in moreless village close to airport, so, don't expect some urban activities around :). I was quite taken aback, when the hostess gently but repeatedly asked to remove the shoes at entrance and proceed to 2nd floor in socks... Not that I mind her devotion to cleanness, but would be better either to provide some cheap disposable sleepers or at least plastic shoe covers... Otherwise, it could have also better to inform by e-mail about such request, and I would have keep my slippers more ready in the luggage :) shower needs some repair as it blows water so multidirectionally that water floods the bathroom. &Quot;private bathroom" at least on 2nd floor seems top be a shared one.. Furniture (huge cabinets) is outdated. Instead of those cabinets would be better to have a desk. All this still doesn't change positive mark for this hotel and it's value-for-money

Nice room Large shower and steam room. Very Clean. The lady does a good job keeping it clean.

No Wifi - Wifi is a neccessity today. The map on the Booking.com email showed the property one street away. This added an hour to finding it. Muddy street - a little gravel would have been great. If there had been more guests, parking would have been impossible. It was quiet that night, with one other family. There was room for at least 5 more groups. They did not collect my money until I was rushing for the airport at 5:30 am. They should collect at check-in. I thought I paid on Booking.com The shower did not drain. I hate standing in water during a shower. I could not get the TV cable to work.

+ value for money + available airport transfer late in the night + clean, big room, big flat-screen tv

    - "strange" location (village with unpaved roads), only reachable by car / taxi - late response to reservation request of airport transfer (also in Ukrainian!) - pillows

Lovely lady running the place, great facilities - double with sauna and power shower was amazing value, had its own full Gym in the room & 3 piece leather suit. I arrived without knowledge of remote location but the owner went out of her way to help with an evening meal and breakfast!!

very secluded - is best for a traveller with a car - but well worth staying if you are OK with remote location - better also as self catering - take some supplies for yourself as there is full kitchen available

Very close to the airport: 5-7 minutes of ride. Transfer is readily available for UAH 70. Accepts cards and various currencies in cash.

There are several buildings and Wi-Fi is present only in one of them. TV hardly works. Very cold floors. Only one bathroom per building (there is an additional toilet on the ground floor). You can hear virtually everyone in the building. Also there is a sauna, which is usually let separately for all night to groups of young local people. They keep having fun, walking, using the toilet, slamming doors... and you just can't escape hearing it all, even though they try to be 'silent'. No way. Possibly not the best place if you care about your sleep.

It is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service for a bit of money. The shuttle was reliable. Very clean. Hot shower. Quiet.

It is hard to find and not marked. Upon initial ringing the doorbell, nobody answered. Given the remote location I started to worry. If you do not speak Russian/Ukrainian this hotel is probably out of bounds. When we checked in the hotel owner first had to make our bed. I had to carry my luggage all the way up to the room, which was difficult given that my suitcase was heavy.

    1) The hotel is close to the airport and is excellent for 1 night stay between the flights but I wouldn't want to stay there for a longer time. 2) The transfer from/to the airport was arrranged as we requested.

    1) The room was large and cold, we wouldn't mind it to be smaller but warmer. 2) We couldn't take a shower since the water couldn't even be called "warm", not speaking of "hot". 3) The girl at the reception was far from being a welcoming host. We hurried to an appointmnet in Kiev and told her that we agree about the breakfast after we come back from Kiev in the evening. Yet, when we wanted to confirm the breakfast that same evening, she quite aggressively insisted that we refused to order breakfast earlier. So, if you need breakfast, make it very clear right after the arrival. 4) For going to Kiev, don't ask the hotel to order a taxi for you, the driver they sent charged us 250 hryvnas against 150 hryvnas charged by "Kiev taxi" driver.

    Room was nice, bed comfy.

I paid and extra 50% so my colleague could stay in the room for another 5 hours before her flight left. When I had gone, the owner asked my colleague to vacate the room because she had let it to someone else. I paid extra for the room and she was kicked out. I hate double letting rooms. I will never stay there ever again. I travel to Ukraine every few months, this is the worst hotel I have been in for ages.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

I paid an additional 50% for my female colleague to remain in the hotel room and have 2 meals for another 10 hours until her flight time. After about 3 hours my colleague was told to vacate the room, it was booked to another client. My colleague was told she could stay in the lounge area of the hotel! I HATE the practice of double booking for maximum profit! I will not be staying at the Kasana Hotel on my next trip.

The lady that met me at the hotel was extremely nice and she really helped with arranging good transportation to the hotel. She keeps the place very clear and is extremely down to earth. She also upgraded me to a better room since it was closer to the bathroom and no one was occupying it at the time. Very nice and kind!

When we were driving to the hotel, we ended up on some dirt roads in a poorly lit neighborhood. It was a little scary, but they can't help their location - that's how they can keep the prices down.

It was very close to the airport in a small village. A great place to stay the night in between flights.

Far from restaurants and cafe's but the pros far exceed the cons.

cheap hotel, 5 min. from Boryspol airport.

it's a house, not a hotel. Hard to find (taxi took me to Kiev, than back to Hora). Wi-Fi not working except in the hall. Located in an "alone in the dark" vilage with nothing around it. Staff can't speak english. Breakfast/launch very poor. They want you to remove shoes while inside and walk with socks.

A family rents rooms in their home which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. I had a very large and beautifully furnished room for a very reasonable price. There was free Wi-Fi . The hotel is in a small village (Hora Village), which has narrow, and sometimes rough, roads that are very dark at night. Public transportation for airport to hotel involves changing buses in the city of Boryspil (at time of October, 2013, 2 at airport to 316 in Boryspil to Hora Village); taxi and hotel shuttle available at airport (call hotel from airport or arrange before arriving at airport)

Do not know about all rooms, but my room had no desk, so I had to stand using Wi-Fi with my computer on a 3 foot high cabinet. Location can be good or bad depending on your needs and willingness to walk: very close to Boryspil Airport (about 6 km, it's a long walk, but, if you walk, you should be familiar with the hotel's location and the roads to take), but not close to Kiev City; however, good public transportation to city if you are willing to walk to the bus stop, which is a least a kilometer away.
