nice quiet place to chill, some nice looking bars and places to hang out, town centre has great potential, with some investment it could be a cracking little gold mine, screaming out for terraces with restaurants and coffee shops, money money is what it needs. It is already happening, give it a few years and town will become something. Need information at hotels about tourists attractions and things to do in sumy. Infrastructure needs to be set up but like most places in Ukraine, they dont get the whole tourist thing yet, a hotel can make extra money money by arranging tours and other activities or at least trying to encourage people to stay longer.

Sumy isn't a large city and might not be very exciting for many tourists, but it is a comfortable small city with enough good restaurants, museums, parks, and other things to see. I enjoy visiting this city to walk around and relax. It feels like a safe, friendly place.

The location is perfect, right next to the downtown without actually being right on a noisy pedestrian street. This was my first time with a balcony room, and it was great with a long view of the city, market, bridge, etc. It was a spacious room and huge bathroom, and I frequently made tea and kept my food in the refrigerator. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. Overall, it was an ideal and affordable hotel, which is why I keep returning.MattUkraine

And now, after a long quarantine and the ongoing war, the hotel's restaurant has reopened and offers breakfast; the oatmeal and sirniki were perfect for me in the morning before participating in a running race. I like the style of the hotel. Huge hallways. very spacious rooms. It was quite cold that day and without asking for it they brought me extra bedsheets. ATB supermarket is nearby, calm area. a 15 minutes straight walk to the left and you are in the center of Sumy. Stayed 2 days, will certainly come back.

In fact, it's a motel, of single rooms, not dorm rooms, so the price is excellent. There is a kettle and microwave. The manager is a 'good guy'. It's a straight go from the bus station. A longish walk but not too far and if you're traveling light and very' easy to find. They have chickens nearby, so fresh eggs!
