it was neat and clean and recently renovated. Also we appreciated that we could open the windows and get fresh air. The staff were kind and helpful in trying to fulfill our needs since we stayed for 1 week.

For 2 people the room was too small--we were constantly having to move out of each others way.

The room / bathroom are very clean. The staff at the lobby bar / cafe are efficient and friendly. It served a god choice of light and medium meals. I love the cakes! The breakfast is good. Staff at the front desk are excellent. The meeting room that we used was suitably located and quiet. If I have to return to Kiev, I will stay at the same hotel again. Best wishes to the staff.

The business center with computers. The good-quality bed.

The curtains could not be closed completely to make room dark. The lifts were often not working. The weak sound insulation between room.

The room was non smoking - but the cigarets smell was very high in the room

Good Location & Service.

Bath drain wasn't working properly and whole bath was dirty!!! Extremly expensive taxis - triple to normal cost.

Huge price of breakfast. For the half You can eat huge brakfast on the city.

Staff couldn't advise a good restaurant and sent us in the end to the wrong place. We wanted Ukrainian national cuisine with atmosphere and U Ukrainian style but we sent to a regular one with average food.

The general standard of the hotel is good.

The TVs stopped working the whole time I was there and they did not repair them and even did not offer any compensation at all,very poor attitude.Certain reception staff need to learn to tell the truth to the residents of the hotel.

Fairly good hotel with new rooms, which have enough space for two people. Towels were changed daily, two free bottles of water, shampoo, shower gel and other useful things (such as for example sewing kit) are provided for by the hotel. The location is also good, around 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Swimming pool and fitness were closed from Dec. 24 up to January 13. Be careful, the price for breakfast is extremely high, you can eat tasty food of different cuisines 2-3 times cheaper in the city.

Bar personel really good and friendly. In general a realy good hotel nothing to complain about.

Suite was large with separate bedroom, two baths, separate office room. Centrally located and accessible to main tourist attractions in Kiev.

Limited choice of restaurants. Main restaurant was closed for events some days. It's central location is somewhat hampered by its being on top of a hill. You have to walk 5-10 minutes down the hill to get to the main drag. This can be challenging in winter. Bed was a bit hard.

Was a good hotel. No problems. Price was good and I traveled here in December. I dont know how much the prices go up in the summer but for the winter time was good deal and good hotel.

No real problems with the hotel except for the taxis that they permit to operate in front of the hotel. Parking lot of hotel is fenced and secure so only permitted taxis can enter the area to provide transportation for the hotel guests. These particular taxi drivers charge double the fee of the local drivers. May not be a big problem for people but if you will rely heavily on taxis the bill will be double. So it is best to call the local taxi agencies to provide transportation for yourself.

Location, close to the city centre, within walking distance, clean room and friendly and extremely helpful staff. This was my second stay at the President hotel. It was good place to stay 4 or 5 years ago and I must say it has improved greatly since then.

Stayed in a junior suite and it was well worth the money as opposed to a standard hotel room at the Holiday Inn. Excellent service at all times. All staff spoke English and were extremely helpful. The hotel taxi service was excellent - expensive but not overly so, but you get what you pay for. Would stay there again anytime. 10 minute walk to downtown. ATM's did not work with my credit cards. Used BTb ATM in the RUS hotel next door.

After reconstruction of rooms it provides quite good value for the money. Due to the large number of rooms you can almost always be sure that you can stay at the hotel even without preliminary reservation

If this is your first time you plan to stay in this hotel, you should not be misleaded with its name. You will find there is nothing presidential in it.
