How clean and friendly everybody was' Nice hotel I will stop their again in the summer.
I pretty much loved everything about this place:) I was well taken care of.
The bar played loud music often late into the night.
the breakfast is the best. the room is warm in winter, every thing works. good comfort. nice view. very romantic. clean smelling. staff speaks English. and they try hard to please.
only one thing. not enough light in the bathroom to shave.
I loved the room and the price. The staff was very wonderful, helpful and kind. Anything I needed they were more than happy to help. The room I stayed in "The Admiral" Was very nice with a great view of the River. The restaurant in this Hotel has the best steak I have ever eaten in the Ukraine:) But to be honest all their food was very good.
There is nothing I didn't like except for the Loud Music coming from the Bar that is in the Hotel. On the weekends it goes on well past midnight :( So if you are the type to go to bed early then good luck:)
Good staff is always important to me and the staff at this hotel is great.
Location by river, outdoor seating area, good restaurant , 24-hour bar, excellent breakfast
Swimming pool no water
Location, friendly staff, outdoors restaurant, swimming pool area
Noise coming from the car park and the street during morning hours
I enjoyed just about everything at this hotel. The staff was wonderful, and very accomodating. I was in a single standard room with a full (maybe queen) bed. The room size was small, no dresser or closet only an armour. But this is Europe, not the us. This was not a negative to me. I enjoyed the "Drunk Patrick" pub. However, according to locals , the Sorgood restaurant next to the hotel is tops in Nikolaev.
I did not like the potholed, partially paved, partially cobblestoned street in front of the hotel. Cars had only one lane in front of the hotel, so cars were constantly jocking for position to get by.
Everything about hotel is great!
The pool area was nice and the restaurant beside the hotel was excellent. The food in the hotel was good other than the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly. One hotel clerk was great when she helped me get a cab at 5 am when my arranged ride had car troubles and could not pick me up.
You have to pay for drinking water for your room. My room was small and the bathroom was very cramped. Housekeeping staff do not speak English, but no big deal.
No chairs on balcony
Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, Good room, nice pool etc and good location.
Air conditioning could have done with a boost ... but only a minor thing - it still worked ok .
This is one of th nicer places to stay in Ukraine for the dollar value. You are treated well and the hotel is clean. Is easy to get to and has great food.
Location, location, location, friendly and extra helpful staff, very clean and excellent value for money, good food.
Room was a tad small and missed an armchair to relax in - room was not big enough for one.
Most things--but add excellent breakfast
All the steps down to lower area !! lol
Very friendly atmosphere, beautiful view, good food, good drinks...a very nice place at an incredible reasonable price!
Two level Appartment River view Restaurant Stargorod Parking Private beach Cottage Cheese for breakfast
Poor cleanliness: hair everywhere around, condoms under the bed, no shampoo and soap in both bathrooms. Irritating and noizy ventilation (quite room was requested at booking) poor wifi on the 2nd level
Close to River view, best restaurant.
Noise party on first floor bar. Book a room high up.
The location is excellent at the river's edge. The new Irish pub on two levels is comfortable and the food is good, though not as good as the restaurant next door, the Stargorod. The fittings inside the rooms work with the exception of the TV, which was not that important to me. The new conference part to the back is modern and nicely appointed. Now that the hrivna has dropped, the prices are more in line with Europe. (€60 per night)
The whole place needs a facelift (except for the new extensions containing the conference centre and Irish pub). The front looks run down and the foyer is frankly uninviting. The old restaurant appears abandoned and useless, unfriendly; the rooms themselves are still in a style of about 20 years ago, with dark brown furniture of slightly post-Soviet era and tan/dark gold/dark brown colours predominating. The bath is tiny - anybody over 1m60 could not stretch their legs in the bath. And the list that was not working 2 years ago is still not working, although the receptionist assured me that it was working the previous day!
Great staff, nice hotel, good location
